Isn’t it boring to come up with a “Disney game” argument all the time? You guys need to be more creative. I have no issue with you criticizing the game as many things need to be corrected, but this “Disney” argument is so cringe lol.
I beg to differ, respectfully. WoW is not an RPG anymore. WoW has lost many of its RPG elements and became an “Elden Ring” ish MMO game. Raids are irrelevant, even though there are still players like me who are raiding, the difficulty is not existent unless you are pushing mythic raids. It is not as hard as it was before for Normal or Heroic raiding. Other than that, there is only M+, Arena and RBGs do still exist but other MMORPG PvPs are better than WoWs so, the PvP community is either doing Arena or they are on other games.
M+ is no different to me than Elden Ring in theory. Of course, there are a lot of differences between them but if you simplify both of them, it’s just about learning mechanics and surviving.
Leveling was hard, but you should be able to learn a lot of interesting stuff about the lore during the leveling journey. I used to be paid a lot of money for leveling services during my time at college. (WoTLK era) as I was able to hit the level cap from 0 in 2 days. My friends were bringing their laptops to my dorm room and I was leveling their toons on their accounts, they were paying me a lot of money for that kek. (No account trading, no in-game trade, etc. I was on their laptops, their client, and their account. Only, I was the one playing)
Now if you try to level up, like fully focused, you can ding in a day. Easy peasy. It is so easy to reach the end game, and the end game becomes repetitive very quickly.
From my perspective, there is no RPG element in modern WoW, not at all. Is it a bad thing or a good thing? I am not commenting on that. I just don’t think the current player pool or current community cares so much about RPG elements of WoW so, it has slowly been taken out of the game over the years. WoW is more like an MMO action game now. Wanna try a real RPG game, try Baldur’s Gate if you haven’t already.
