The Gilneas Denizens ADEU Community and the Gilneas Community would like to invite you all to the Winter’s Veil Weekend in Gilneas.

With Winter’s Veil just around the corner, Gilneas is abuzz with preparations for a long weekend of festivities that promises to be unforgettable. This year, the citizens are putting their heart into creating an enchanting Winter’s Veil market and an elegant ball, among other delightful events.

We kick the festival weekend off with…

The Gilneas Wintry Forest Walk

This event is on 13th of December and starts at 20:00 RT.

A magical Winter’s Veil celebration under starlit skies and snow-dusted trees! To kick off the holiday weekend, we invite you to embark on a serene, enchanted evening walk through the wintry forest. As you stroll along winding paths illuminated by softly glowing lanterns, take in the crisp air and twinkling frost covering every branch.

The Gilnean Winter Veil Faire

This event is on the 14th December and starts at 20:00 RT.

The cosiest time of the year!
Come and have a mulled wine, roasted nuts and almonds, candy canes and much much more!

• 20:00 The Winter Faire starts.
• 20:10 A welcome speech.
• 20:20 Stalls and games open up.
• 21:00 Entries for the Snowman contest opens
• 21:30 Snowman contest
• 22:30 Closing celebrations with speech and fireworks

This event is on the 15th December and starts at 20:00 RT

The weather is getting colder and that means only one thing…
Festive season is on it’s way. Get them gowns and suits ready and be prepared to have a night fit for Greatfather Winter!

20:00 - The Ball will start and the Photobooth by the amazing Tisbeth will open
20:20 - Speeches will take place and the tickets for the raffle will go on sale
20:30 - Winter’s veil Pictionary
21:15 - Organized Dancing by the wonderful Acrona
21:50 - Time for gifting!
22:30 - Sled racing!
23:00 - End Speeches, Raffle winners and Fireworks

I hope it will be a truly magical time for all of Gilneas!

It seems the moment has arrived to lead everyone through the Nutcracker ballet—brace yourselves for a whirlwind of pirouettes and questionable grace!

All jokes aside, the guided dancing on December 15th will follow a similar format to my previous dance gatherings, with each move clearly instructed and CAPs used for /emotes. We’ll most likely have two choreographies, with at least one involving dancing with a partner. Honored to be a part of this!

We’ve done two of our weekend events so far and it’s been amazing!

Friday we had a lovely walk around the woodlands of Gilneas. Followed by some Sleding, warm drinks and a story about an infamous Gilneas Sheep.

This evening we had a wonderful market. Lots of stalls. Lots of new faces! Warm drinks! And finally a fantastic build a snowman competition! Which the miner snowman won.

We’re looking forward to celebrating the closing of the events tomorrow with our Winters veil ball

Welcome to Dance at the Winter Ball!

This fine evening, among many other enticing activities, the revelers have the opportunity to learn two festive dances, Starlight Row and Kisses Under the Mistletoe.

Both dances require a dance partner, so bring your sweetheart, your best friend, or even that mysterious neighbor who always borrows sugar - it’s the perfect excuse to pair up!

The choreographies will be guided step by step, intended to be easy to follow along, allowing everyone join in on making merry with their feet.

We can’t wait to see you twirl on the dance floor!

Delighted to help Yazmin a little with tonight’s festivities! The dance choreographies at tonight’s ball will use a variety of movement patterns and emotes (you might like to macro /clap, /wave and /bow). The emotes will be alluded to with CAPs in the verbal instructions.

There will be background music played via Watch2Gether website during the activity, to add to the immersion of characters dancing. It’ll be linked to from my character’s (Fairsky) TRP at the event. See you there!
