[A-RP-G] Dawn of the Faithful: The Light and You đŸ€ș

(REPOST BECAUSE OLD THREAD GOT LOCKED)

Hey there and welcome to our newest Forum Post regarding our guild Dawn of the Faithful.
The Light bulbs in blue are about and roleplaying (Ah chips, here we again
)
For a fancier overvieuw, consider a visit to our website: https://inessmetwow.wixsite.com/dotf (Domain is scruffed due to free user)

Guild Concept
The basics start with our orientation as a Light themed guild, that does not have any ties with already existing lore organisations.
This allows them to not be tied to specific location, politics etc and thus allows them to have their own code and virtues that is deemed important by the Grandmaster.
Their Code speaks of balance and good, lead on by the three virtues: Respect, Tenacity, Compassion.
Members of the Dawn are to apply these in any situation, be it facing friend or foe.
A dedication without glory grabbing or warmongering, they seek to create a ripple effect and hold the balance .

We seek to create a narrative atmosphere within the Guild, which does not just lean on continuous DM’d events though they are part of it, narrative should also happen in day to day Roleplay, no matter someone’s time restrictions to be physically around in game.
Teaching novitiates, performing non combatant duty ( confessing, researching etc.) they’re all part of the dynamic.
Room for character progression is an obvious given, a Guild should not dictate the way someone’s story fluctuates rather be a stepping stone for guidance or inspiration, that is why we incorporate Guildies to the best extent in our personal storyline and duties, and also why we have expanded to a broader horizon of accepted characters.

Furthermore, with this Guild we seek to contribute to the RP scene where we see fit. To the disgruntlement of some statue-roleplayers we will seek to hold Light themed roleplay at Cathedral Square (Ex: A Priest giving open readings/sermons in the street)

What role can I take up in your Guild?
We have a -very- varied recruitment list. Our Guild takes distance from being Paladin/Priest exclusiveness trend and thus we have worked out a document with POSSIBLE positions/streamlines to pursue in the Guild (Disclaimer: This will always be extended depending on ideas given to us by guildies)
The base has to be there though: your character has to have faith in the tennents of the Light. Throughout your journey with us, you will find your character tested on this even past the days of being a Senior brother or sister within our order.

The largest two types you max expect are:

  1. Knights | Military Wing
Is self explanatory: We have a Chapter of Knights that will be accompanied and flanked by our rangers/shades (agents) that has the main focus when it comes to combat situations.
This wing is headed by Knight-Commander Victor Foy and will respectfully gain a under officer called the Captain, there will also be a Head of the rangers and a head of the shades for these specific roleplaying types.

Within the Millitary you will have to expect discipline and a good etiquette that will be worked on throughout your stay with us, the Commander and his peers work towards creating a Chapter taking in account your characters specialisations and strenghts, and immersing them into a force of battle.

  1. Church
The Church section is headed by our Seneschal they as the spiritual guide of the Order focuses on the philosophies, lectures behind the Faith, and the general spiritual worship within the Order.
Admittingly, this branch also connects closely with our support characters (Sages) and for example Mages that have a keen interest in relic keeping etc.

Recruitment
We tilt heavy on IC actions, therefor your stay or entry to the Guild will depend on wether if your character is a true fit to the concept, that’s why we also ask with caution to keep this in mind. Having a bad day and letting your OOC influence your character in game so drastically it’s reason for removal will sadly be non negotiable. Of course, we are open for given second chances eventually. But we’d rather have this cleared out BEFORE you join.

All potential members will be given an OOC form to file in on Google Forms so we may have a glance on what your character is about, to see if it is worth coming for an IC intervieuw and does serve as a somewhat quality control for us (Ex: Dean the Brute, files in his character is not faithful at all on the OOC form)
It can also be used as fun tidbits to throw about in a DM’d event that we otherwise wouldn’t know (yet), the team of event creators love personalizing aspects here and there to make it the more memorable.

As of late, we have decided to have set spots per type of Initiate, those spots will clear up if a member terminates their stay or gets promoted. Wether we have spots avaible or not we will always take in account your interest and be flexible where we can.

:exclamation: An IC intervieuw can ONLY be hosted by one of the following persons (Karyinn Southwall, Chriss Southwall, Victor Foy and on extension Tabitha Swann) :exclamation:

Good to Know
Our Guild is not for people that want fast promotions, members here have to earn their keep and present themselves worthy for the Order before advancing even to the core, let alone the positions where you’re granted more say over others.
Also please aks yourselves prior to joining if a Light Order is something you truly want to RP in. There has been complains in the past where members asked us to tweak our concept because they were bored with their characters.

Be able to fend for yourself: We host regular events, or participate in open community events, this does not mean that we have to do that for you to gain Roleplay. We have a basic understanding that you have to be able to interact with others without someone telling you to, or holding your hand. (Aka: We don’t spoonfeed).
Just -attending- events is not enough to gain our IC trust, we want our members to respond to hooks we throw at them during events and actively participate.

Activity: IRL = First, there is no doubt about that at all. HOWEVER with a set amount of spots we do expect dedication to the Guild. It’s okay that you’re away on holiday or in hospital, what is not okay is not letting us know or spending time on alts during main Guild Lore events.
In our Discord we have a leave of absence channel, where we do have a general expectation for members to leave us notes regarding sways in their activities so we know. Not through DM’s because often we do pass it on in Council Chat, but it gets wept away by more pressing Guild matters and we end up forgetting.
If you have to leave due to IRL being too busy, or can’t join up due to it, you’re always welcome at a later time.

Also Uniforms, yes we have them. There’s no room to argue against having to wear one on duty, so figure out if you’re up for that prior to joining!

One of the best Knight-themed and ‘monastic’ guild around.

We had the chance to interact with and befriend them, and look forward to more rp together!

When do you wish to bestow your blessings to us?

One of the more dynamic and friendly guilds to find in Argent Dawn, especially on the Light themed front. Kary and Chriss stick to the theme purely and are a gem for the community. Honoured to know you for so long!

P.S. This is not a bump post!

End of March update
From ceremonies to blessings, from smiting Undeath to watching executioners at work and screaming in paladin
March was a moven month for the Faithful. With the Guild coming into action kickstart, gaining many faces that will always be remembered, outstanding roleplayers who manage to bring a smile to my face even on my sick days.
We’re looking to another period up North to deal with a plotline :tm:

Regarding recruitment: Yep still open, with the emphasis that we are actively looking for Church players (Priest/Clergy) as we have an amazing Seneschal to provide and guide that wing although overall AD interest seems to be low.
Always wanted to try Priest RP? Come dip your toes into it at ours!

And now this update would be nothing without a few interesting snapshots: some Dawn impressions.

The Faithful had another busy week! Filled with trainings and a practical first Aid class, much was learned but much more awaits.
The North awaits once more as we will set to leave Friday! With time progressing, what more tests will await our Initiates?

Sixth of April: Grandmaster received an urgent summons where the Dawn were threatened by unknown assailant, claiming to be in the possession of civilians that he/she wanted to execute if there was no intervention.
The location was narrowed down to Redridge, shortly after seven bells the Dawn rode out to the bridge leading to Lakeshire.
Sister Swan was tasked with dividing the Dawn personnel into groups:
1 Investigating Lakeshire (Head Sage, Thalmar, Jana’xe, Danona, Ashton, Dorn , Tamisi)
2 Scouting the lands and nearby caverns (Kailand)
3 Investigating the Old Keep (Swan, Reuben, Whirlybolts, Caelaan, Arena)

Group 1’s findings was a lack of care from the governing Mayor, who apparantly were spending much resources on keeping Gnolls at bay. The Mayor was aware of missing persons cases that he lost count off indicating it was ongoing for a long stretch of time, no posters were created to help with finding them. He mentioned that there was a new group at the Keep.
Initiate Ashton later confirmed that matter, he had heard from the barkeep that groups of people were seen entering the Keep but never making a return
Kailand’s scouting did not reveal a secret hiding place, meaning the lands themselves were clear
Group 3 that were investigating the Keep found mysterious figures holding watch, unmoving even after spotting the Dawn. A mysterious dark fog rolling down from the Keep onto the road eventually. Sister Swan was convinced of Necromantic energies present at the location.

Kailand was ordered with firing a singular arrow to taunt the mysterious yet unmoving figures.
Having received a Prayer of battle from the Seneschal, the frontline forces soon formed a front to start the descend down, they had to brave the mist.
No enemies were assaulting them, although the mists were clearly of darker magics origins, as some of the Dawn started to receive whispers.
Staying in formation, a gruesome sight was revealed on top of the hill: Civilians with their hearts cut out, eyes removed, toppled on two set of spikes.
Several singular bodies were also spread over the Keep that the Dawn investigated, they seemingly had received the same fate as those by the entrance.
Keep gates opened as the bells started to ring, soon after the Dawn was greeted with hordes of Undead, withstanding the first surge but soon finding themselves overwhelmed, retracting to circular formation in order to protect the members of the cloth.
The Grandmaster proceeded a charge, having retrieved his warhorse and attached barrels of water, entering the Keep on horseback and dousing the Undead forces in the water which the Seneschal proceeded to bless setting a blaze to them.
Inside, Seven figures appeared again, before disappearing stating a clear message: They would meet again
More information was not revealed regarding any of the mysterious individuals, it would be concluded they’d be in charge of the happenings at the Keep and therefor have ties to strong necromancy.

Had an amazing Event to kick off the first Guild storyline
- But the madness is not over! There’s not 1 narrative but 2 happening! Will the Faithful see it through?

    Attending Personnel
[Council] Knight-Commander V. Foy, Seneschal Dorn
    [Initiates] W. Whirlybolts , J. Woodbrook, J. Ashton, J. Helton, T. Swann , O. Thornley , Jana’xe, A. Talham

Situation
Initiate Woodbrook informed Council member Foy about a missive posted by the Alliance Naval forces, informing about a ship that did not make rendez-vous in Menethil Harbour, and would be stranded close by the coasts of Wetlands. The Dawn accepted this mission and made way to the Wetlands, braving the snowed on roads. Arriving in the Wetlands they set path to Menethil Harbour. The members gotten themselves into an ambush caused by wailing ghosts and banshee’s, the town was overrun with spirits who were disturbed. Some were stunned by the wails coming from these ethereal beings, though two saves were made during the fight: Initiate Swan ensured the safety of the Seneschal (throughout the mission) and Knight-Commander Foy protected Initiate Woodbrook from one of the ghosts assaults. Once the ghosts were put to their rest again, Initiate Swan, Woodbrook and Heyton realized something was amiss by the docks further up. Up on investigating, the scene was a Fallen Knight attacking soldiers, wearing a battle-axe, dressed in Lordaerons colours The Seneschal and Knight-Commander engaged the spectre with an approach for exorcism rather than head on confrontation, although if it were not for intervention of Initiate Jana’xe and more, the Knights charge would of caused the Seneschal a good deal of harm. Not giving up on the idea however, with the Dawn joining in prayer and holy words, the spirit was brought to her senses. Making the horrible discovery she was now part of the ancient enemies: Undead.

The Fallen Knight of Lordaeron plead to the Dawn forces to end her ethereal excistence, and thus the Dawn saw through completing the excorcism.

General injuries were sustained from fighting the ghosts, but no large ones. The objective of finding the boat was not reached. The bad weather was spotted during the mission, with the same cloud formation as could be seen in the affected zones. No signs were found of the plague that has been dubbed The Ring

Mission debrief of 13/4: Guild Lore Stotyline II: P3: Snowtrap
Attending Personnel
[Council] Knight-Commander V. Foy , Head Sage K. Southwall
[Initiates] Jana’xe, Caelaan, Kailand , W. Whirlybolts, L. Wobblecog, L. Sunbringer,

Blue flame was spotted for two days by Thoradin Wall, noticeable from the walls of Strom. After a small nuisance situation, the Dawn rode out to investigate.
Passing what was assumed Newstead, they encountered bodies (whomst were quick to be set aflame by Initiate Jana’xe) and a unholy shrine of the Scourge.
The Shrine later came to burst, causing for the Dawn to quickly relocate to avoid a possible burst of plague to hit them, something lingered in the distance affecting several Initiates, including the Head Sage who stated that it was -It- again, apparently it was sighted in the Hinterlands before.
Quickly moving on to the Wall, the Dawn was met by a set of refugees who turned out to be Pilgrims, though the Houndsmasters companions alerted the Dawn that something was not right and in order, which the Knight-Commander took to heart as later was discoverd they had infected within their ranks, and after the only option to deliver the Lights mercy was performed by him, three cultists revealed themselves in the Pilgrims midst.
What followed could only be described as utter chaos, as Gargoyles were summoned coming to swoop in to pick up the pilgrims bodies and scatter them on top of the Dawn, with good wits to keep their heads down no one managed to get any of the infected blood in their eyes or mouth.
They combated the Gargoyles, to realise this was a well planned out trap, as the Houndsmaster Initiate spotted that Stromgarde was under attack.

The Dawn could only retreat at this point: the dead Pilgrims being risen as a pack of Undead, which devoured the steed of the Houndsmaster as a late evening snack. The other mounts heading in a panic, all the while literal -ice- was raining down and the presence of nothing but dead and despair covered the area, causing great discouragement in everyone.
Two wounded were reported and taken care of by the Head Sage once return was made: Initiate Kailand whomst found himself impaled by ice, and Initiate Jana’xe suffering from complete exhaustion
The realisation sunk in: they were up against a coordinated force, one they could not face alone.

https://imgur.com/gallery/OwBY1zy
Horrified, traumatized, exhausted
The best three words to explain the current morale, having spent time up North only to see it spiral further and further to a dangerous enemy the Dawn’s resolve could literally not resolve the problem at hand. Being lucky to not yet having lost a Brother or Sister at this point, but having encountered a few close calls, enough was enough.
Running out of supplies to keep up and further investigate the threat, it was time they’d see Stormwind again

We’ve had an amazing week of events and within the week ideas spiralled further, we have decided to extend the Dawn narrative to several handpicked Guilds to enter this adventure with us!
Sadly, we can not extend this to a Server Campaign as we do not have the means for running one! But people may use hooks for their own Guilds events up North if they wish so.

With all of that being said, we’ll be taking a break in Stormwind for the upcoming week as we prepare for the 29th: the here we go again boogaloo will we be succesful?
Recruitment will take place in Stormwind, and you can expect your holy bunch at the Storwind Faire!

Ah Stormwind Stormwind

Walks into a blood ritual summoning an Undead spirit
That didn’t take long!
The Dawn are once again in the beloved capital where the floor is up and the ceiling is down, getting the new members settled in, the older ones tested, and for a Dame to gain her promotion!
Dawn potluck was a succes, with many dishes almost sending us into a food coma, and the occasional “Call Kary a witch” entertainment mixed in with kick yo Grandmaster in the shin!
More interesting was the speculation that went on
Everyone was given the oppertunity to describe a member through an animal they felt fitted too. And so was born: Sir Aldritch the Stag, Sir Quakers (prepares to get stabbed for this) , Dame Karyinn the Hen, Jana our beloved butterfly
 And more!

Admittingly, they were given quite the scare at their departure (story can be seen at the upcoming link) but with the keen eye of a Ranger, they all saw home again.

As an update on our slots, we are switching over to passive recruitment most likely, letting the newer additions settle in and teach the ropes to those who are also new to WoW RP in a safe environment!
For now, our focus will be an attempt for Clegy, Scouts, and sheesh we still need a Faithful Bard character! :raised_hands:

Our last week before departure is kicking in but oh boy what a past week it has been for us!

Wednesday saw a moment of passage for a member that has been dedicating a lot into the Dawn IC and OOC, Sister Tabitha Swan has been ranked up to an official Dame of the Dawn, and as well as Standard-Bearer for the example she sets for the Initiates.

May she lead us together with the Council to a bright future!

Varied lessons on different topics were given as preparation to our area of deployment, as well as a Millitary drill hosted by the Grandmaster and Knight-Commander, instructing Initiates on the right formations and showing them the importance of being an absolute unit on the field. Everyone has a vital role to play!

Saturday brought us to the long looked out for Stormwind City Faire, which I still tip my tophats of for the organisers and all the participants that truly made it come to live. If anyone still rambles on about WoW being death they clearly need to see an optometrist
Jason Woodbrook, loved by all, the sailor tongued Squire raised quite an amount of donations of his services of polishing armour and used these to buy new toys for the Orphanage!
Initiate Blackwren got the first hand experience of being a Noblegarden Bunny, after taking on the Deathwing Sauce Challenge
Yeah let’s not talk about that

Down to our most FAVORITE activity of the week that was highly praised by all beloved members
- The one and only meet up with the Revenant Knights to extend invitiation to the plotline of Winters Nightmare.
The Initiates were so happy with the sight of it that some got a little -too- excited and drew their weaponry in defense
It was a glorious sight to behold: The Knight-Commander squaring off with the one and only Dread Knight, oh whilst holding a mission debrief of course!

To say time is moving fast may be an understatement, our Order has grown so lovely over the months that has passed, however a new milestone has been achieved
 Well technically two.

First of all: Danona Steelbarrow, no longer an Initiate, our dwarfette now has entered the creed of our Guardians. The Dawns finest personal bodyguards! We want to personally thank this player for having been with us since the ressurection of our Guild, their characters has grown and still makes people smile until this day, even though we already know that behind the mask there are no 3 Leper gnomes stacked up on each other!

Second of all: Winters Nightmare, written by Tabitha Swann , which is not just solely a Guild Campaign but infact now spans across four Guilds total, has seen it’s two starting days pass, with tonight being a rest day. Flanked by a couple of individuals as well who help us combat this threat! Giddy to see the Roleplay evolving and knowing much more even awaits! https://imgur.com/gallery/6FItczn

Winters Nightmare
Words are unable to describe what a wonderful oppertunity and story narrative it has been so far.
And for me personally, it allowed me to really overcome my personal anxiety and develop further as a DM, sometimes for things to change you do need a deep dive into the sea (not always literally) and learn that everything is fine <3

Personal development aside, seeing this is a Guild thread: We are seeing so many guildies in action and once more, there are no coherent amount of words at the ready to express how grateful the team is to our home away from home.

Secondly, I know it’s not the Campaigns end just yet, but I already want to do a shout out to the participating Guilds, give credit where credit is due as they’re all good sports IC and OOC, giving us the needed feedback to really build this Campaign on and for some of us to practice how to handle it

Now to the fun part the most recent screenshot compilation before it gets too soggy in here

Procastinating Forum updates? Myes right adress with me!

Either way, seeing the intensive Campaign has closed to and end, we will be back around/about Stormwind, ready to pick up new Initiates who’d want to join the Order but also to give much needed rest IC and OOC.
Guild internal events occuring as we speak, but the Faithful are also on high alerts
Their Honoured Wolves may need them in the near future, for they seek to initiate a hunt against the Dark Ranger that slew Sam Thornpaw! :crossed_swords:
And honestly, more Undead hunting, sounds about right.

The beginning for more?
Operation Ferndochty and a Feud Between Farmers
Ferndochty saw the Dawn and honourary member Emily Talan on their way to a small village within Duskwood down with the Jungle Pox, a disease transmitted from infected panthers and the lack of proper hygiene by most likely those who hunted it.
From stopping a Witch Hunt on a Kirin Tor Student to a full scale vaccination effort for those who managed to escape the disease so far, everyone worked together to see harmony restored.
The young villagers scribe even regaled the ‘heroes’ with a recount of events through drawings.

However not long after the ordeal, as the Dawn began to focus on more in person pressence within the zones surrounding Stormwind, they found themselves amidst a dangerous gun fighting family feud between two aggriculture focussed families
Turns out the fght was a long brewing mess of problems and sabotage caused by a group of ‘professional ruffians’ (I’ll leave professional in the middle) as they tried to hail their own guns once their grip up on the families started to loosen, it boiled down into an amazing chase, and for a life saving Lightforged to take care of one victim.
The professional ruffians mentioned with a little water in their pants after the ordeal, that they appeared to be promised a good ton of gold for acquiring the two farms. By who? The Valerunners :tm:
With very short information avaible they were now waiting, to see if more could be revealed of this unknown threat

Who says you need a Campaign to be busy? :crossed_swords: The smallest threats are often equally important.
Are you still looking for a Guild where individual actions matter rather than number rolls?
Do you feel that creativity in RP is a trait to be cherished and motivates you a lot?
Are you in the possession of a character who firmly believes within the three tennents of the Light?
That is the Dawn of the Faithful for you! :shield: :raised_hands:

Keep in mind alts with shoddy activity do not need to apply, we’re looking for people who want to put their RP time into their main with us and make progression through the Brotherhood of the Faithful!

Rapiers Aftermath - Tale of Two

Her lips stiffened as she overheard the Scouts report on Outpost Rapier, the dagger that was twirling within her hand seemed to only make the poor man more nervous, she didn’t care for it though
“They took everything with them, the slaves, the trade goods
- Our men” She gave a crude short laugh “Are the little tincans fishing around for more deserters? How droll.”
The man kept his pause after the comment “Our agents inform us that they the Alliance has upped thorough security of the Stockades, only those entrusted are put on guard or anywhere near our comrades, bribing is unsuccessful”
She emitted a deep audible sigh, standing up from her chair, but it was her advisor that spoke “We knew someone would catch on eventually, feeding them scraps might work to distract them from main operations”
She smiled at this, he was her advisor for a reason, though her blood ran cold as she Scout spoke up “Mistress
 Th
They have the Naga gem
”
The dagger in her hand shot up in the air, and planted roughly into the woodwork table, not caring if anyone fingers would be in the way, she leaned in, if smoke could come from her nostrils it would “WHAT!”
The room went dead silent, she could see peoples faces pale as her fury came out “I thought that gem was shipped on the Cockatiel? Why was it still there?” Her advisor spoke
“Unknown, and well the Overseer was
Blown to bits” The Scout coughed, causing her to roll her eyes “That idiot just cost us a fortune
Without that gem our incursion in Vash’jir is impossible”
She was reminded of her fury, pulling the dagger from the woodwork and pointing it around to the Advisors and the Scout “I want them crushed, assasinated, gone from sight!” she screeched, the poor Scout cowering once more “Mistress
 Th
They’re a huge organisation
 A
and they’re in Stormwind, attacking them there
-”
“Then deliver the information we need
It is time for a warning.”

The Commander couldn’t give more goggled eyes as his hands went over the map, that was hidden within the supply cache that the Dawn seized from the Outpost “They’re everywhere” he breathed for dramatic intent, the Seneschal remained stoic but she had to admit it wasn’t a good omen having watched the map, they were lucky to have caught the gangs activity, but she knew they were too late to stop anything from spreading, but that didn’t stop her from not seeing where hope was due “The Cockatiels current schedule is also alerted on the map, I think with this news we have more clarity on where we can strike, to take out those responsible, rather than the underlings”
She was granted a few pensive glances “We have the means for Naval battle” Karyinn shook her head, gazing directly at the Commander “Whatever secrets they hold, regarding the azerite and the substance drug, they’d rather hold them for themselves, the Overseer from the Vale knew more, he wasn’t just packed with grenades, he had other means to prevent information extraction.” They all seemed to listen for now, Karyinn pointed a finger to the Cockatiel, tracing it to a certain location “We seize their Captain as they are docked”
A hum of agreement followed, admittingly it was at this moment she prayed Foy nor Tabitha would come out of the shadows to whack her head, she was not a master tactician as them “Just
Make sure they do not get away, you have the Dawns support as always Commander, for the sake of the realm”

OOC Part

Wowza past week had been a blast, we now have a clop clop internal army as the Draenei grace us with their pressence!
The Pilgrimage was quite the succes but long overdue, which will lead to some very well earned promotions for our dedicated members :raised_hands:
An ongoing Storyline and mingling within the SW Communtiy provided the ability for our Dawnies to show what the Faithful banner is about, and in hopes distracts some people from the Non-serious RP that will always plague the main hub.
Some insight to be gained from our latest mission by the worst narrator ever excisted

Dawn of the Faithful - July
A successful Pilgrimage, Sermon and City patrolling, we do do it all here!
We’ve been very focused up on our RP within Stormwind and ensure it is meaningful not just for ourselves but to keep on promoting that there IS proper roleplay in the Capital.
All the while we have some promotions creeping up for our core members :crown:
A big shout out too to Dante Stone for providing us with some unique art that fits our colour scheme again! :hugs:

And another shout out to Cassie Leigh and the Lions Roar team for shadowing us on the mission of Rapier, even mentioning us in an article!

Of course some -proper- impressions can not be left out for those still lurking about

More than one can chew.
Those were the thoughts placed in the Seneschals mind, after a commanded hiatus from Investigations within the Valerunner threat, after several Dawn members became targets and no more leads excpect those leading to preplanned ambushes, as much to her dismay she knew best that some battles are won by waiting.
Once more, they were toyed with by forces from Evil, and albeit the puppeteer was now defeated, by a clean execution of Initiate Lionheart, who had suffered gruesome facial wounds after a sacrificial charge, it was another situation of battle won, but not the war.
Unlike the Winters Nightmare Campaign there was something sinisterly off, this was targetted to them, a fate she could expect after years of dedicated work by every single Faithful in the ranks.
As much as the Light will undo Evil, so would Evil seek to undo the Light.
The situation left her with a slight taste of anxiety, after her own husband was struck such a cursed arrow from the deceased Dark Ranger, seeing him suffer and pulling away from her due to the inherited Southwall stuborness to accept delicate medical aid, it made her feel as if she had failed, it was there when she felt the youthful urges again to run.
So she took the oppertunity to head on a singular mission, which was repayed with karma points for said move as her warhorse Halsey became injured when intervening on a highway attack.
She was grateful of the newly appointed Stable Hand Sister Tyrell’s expertise tending to the steeds of the Dawn
Looking on her desk she knew that there was so much more to do, from calls to aid, training, a Sermon to be conducted in Old Town working together with Natalie and her folks
At times it truly felt as it there was too much to chew on
But a busy woman, is a happy woman.

Summer Times!
Summer Times= Fun, Sunburns, Vacations, Heat strokes
- Okay I don’t know why I started it off with the word fun!
For myself and Chriss it meant a new chapter in our IRL causing a dip in activity for the last two weeks whilst Foyboy and Swann held the Fort, however we also have our members to thank as Initiatives were taken on and rolled out including a hella cool Horse bonding session by Tyrell and a Celebration Dinner!
Still rocking the amazing community vibes, we also played Agrou causing deceit, laughs and promoting Caelaan to Mayor because of his sock collection.

Summer times also means a breather in general, and whilst we still roll out Story and Casual Events, it is generally to be expected for more flexibility and a chiller schedule
