We’re a close-knit, story-driven RP community based primarily in Gilneas, offering both cozy slice-of-life tavern RP and gritty criminal underworld storytelling all within the same interconnected world.

- Cooks, Bakers, and Cleaners – The quiet backbone of the Inn.
- Performers – Musicians, dancers, storytellers. People to entertain the punters.
- Gardeners & Herbalists – For those who prefer the company of leaves to people.

We like to think the Rose In more than a Tavern but an active roleplay hub and community space designed for storytellers, character development, and meaningful connections. We provide a relaxed and welcoming environment with opportunities for both casual and long-term RP.
- Events: We try to do at least two public events each month. Sometimes this can be more depending on the guilds irl situation.
- Collaborative event planning: Bring your own event ideas to life with support from the team. We also travel outside of Gilneas to cater for other players events.
- Opening Nights: Monday and Thursday are the Rose’s opening evenings.
- Supportive Player Base: There’s no pressure to always join in. We understand that irl can get crazy. Emphasis on communication, consent, and collaboration. LGBTQ+ friendly, beginner-friendly, and respectful of diverse RP styles.
- Story Hooks & Personal Arcs: Seamlessly connected to the darker world of Blackwater for those interested in duality and secrets. You’re welcome to stay purely in the peaceful Inn-side RP or get involved in more complex, long-running plots behind the scenes.

OOC information
Overview
- We’re a friendly, story-driven guild focused on realistic criminal and bar-based RP around Azeroth.
- Inspired by a Robin Hood theme - we take from the rich and give to the poor, but welcome all types of criminal backgrounds.
- Our aim is decent, grounded RP with strong character connections and long-term storytelling.
- Strict rules help keep the RP immersive and consistent - this guild may not be for everyone, but we have a lot of fun.
- We don’t expect constant activity - IRL comes first, and we understand burn-out is real.
- Most of us are adults, creating a respectful and understanding environment. Everyone is welcome.
- We’re always happy to help players at any stage of their RP journey.
- Applications involve both an OOC and IC interview**, to ensure a good fit for the guild’s theme.
- We rarely accept Death Knights or Demon Hunters.
- Members are expected to accept IC consequences for their actions, actions have weight in our stories.
- Formerly known as Blackwater Syndicate, now operating as Blackwater Company.
We’re a long-running criminal guild on the server, with deep roots tracing back to our early days in Old Town, Stormwind, where we made our name through tavern ownership, organized brawling, subtle influence, and backroom deals. Our RP always blended charm with danger, drawing the community into stories both gritty and engaging. Now, we’ve returned to our GM’s character’s homeland of Gilneas, where we’ve been actively building for over a year. Since settling in, we’ve hosted a wide range of immersive tavern nights and criminal-themed events, continuing our tradition of character-driven, story-rich RP.
