â âAnâda! Anâda! The sentinels really liked my Moonberry Pie! I may not be old enough to ride with them, but at least I can make sure that they do not grow hungry. Right, Anâda?â
â âLet me get this straight,â said Fray as she stared at the bulging sack of coins on her table: âYou have just spent most of your newly acquired fortune by buying the entire stock of Riverbud and Sirenâs Pollen from the Tradewinds Market to produce the healing potions stored in these crates?â
The druid nodded and she continued in slight disbelief:
â âAnd now you wish to spend your last gold to ship it all to Darkshore?â
â âYes,â answered the druid firmly.
Fray shrugged and examined the crates of neatly packed crystal vials.
â âThere must be at least ten scores of potions? Well, I suppose we could do that. They are not called âcoastal rejuvenation potionsâ for nothing! How much will you pay?â
The antlered druid regarded her for a moment.
â âI will give you five scores of gold pieces now and another five scores when I know that the shipment has reached Lorâdanel.â
The provisionerâs eyes widened. Then she eagerly presented her hand and smiled as they concluded the deal.
â âConsider it done! The goods shall leave Boralus Harbour in the morning and the Army of the Black Moon shall receive the shipment before the end of the week!â
â âThank you, provisioner. I shall trust your discretion.â
He left the sack on the table, stood up from his chair and walked towards the entrance to the harbormasterâs office.
â âOh, just one more thing,â said Fray already counting the coins: âWhatâs in the last crate?â
The druid turned around in the doorway and gave her a final look before leaving the building:
â âMoonberry Pie.â
