Lothar Company’s third day of basic training commences…
With recruits and their more experienced counterparts among the swordsmen all freshly introduced, and reintroduced, to soldiering patrol skills, they are now to make themselves -very- familiar with the bread and butter of formation combat: battle ranks!
An evening of practicing the many elements of the battle rank await Lothar Company, and more dauntingly, tonight’s training will be conducted in full kit. One size fits all, and Stormwind steel is heavy. Only the determined and the strong will find themselves mastering such a potent display of swordsmanship, coordination and discipline!
Lothar Company is also still taking in fresh recruits! Poke anyone in-game and they’ll lead you in the right direction!
Looks like a solid military guild with quite a bit of thought put into it, especially judging by the whole Gauntlet thing. Hope to see you around some time!
Another fruitful evening spent at Westbrook Garrison as the soldiers of Lothar Company engaged in a refresher of patrol skills and were taught the infantryman’s bread and butter; RANKS FOR BATTLE!
Topped off with a local field exercise incorporating all they had learned over the last three days it is safe to say that these lads, whilst having a lot still to learn, are well on their way to becoming steadfast soldiers of the crown.
If Lothar Company has caught your eye then please don’t hesitate to come on down or try and get in touch with one of our officers, although training is currently underway the community is always open to newcomers and will help get you up to speed!
Had it not been for Lance Corporal Andalmar and Corporal Lebennin, my beautiful wife Jodie would’ve never gotten the TriCare she deserves. I cannot believe how lucky we got that she got pregnant with my kid during my 15 month deployment. I’m such a happy father to-be.
They sure look the part; was too slow to respond to an interaction/nod because I was too busy trying to work out if they were patrolling NPCs that had been added in BFA (in a good way!)
Today the men of L Coy were taught the infantryman’s way of “liberating” buildings from enemy forces, a special tactical strike nicknamed ‘STORM’: Storming Occupied Residences Mercilessly.
The thing is, there’s nothing really special about it. You burst through the door, you cut down everyone in the building, sound off and walk away. STORM, simple, brutal and categorically effective.
Perfect for L Coy, but probably not as excitingly go-to for the would-be occupants of a building the company sets its eyes on.
Tomorrow brings another day, with more soldiering lessons and the works, all the while representatives of the company scour the streets of Stormwind for potential.
Very cool / exciting roleplay today, you should check it out!
Here’s a few shots from our training session tonight, apologies for the amateur shots but it’s very difficult to organise a photoshoot with 10+ burly soldiers all so eager to participate in STORMING!
Join Lothar Company now!
Enlist today for a better tomorrow!
I am here to speak honestly about the Lothar Company.
It is very clear that the military themed guilds are creating a great opportunity for the people who seeks medieval military taste with conflict, blood, toil, tears and sweat in the field of battle of Warcraft’s lore and world. But the most important detail here is whom to create and share these amazing stories and memories with. In the end - not everyone has very good knowledge about medieval history, military and how to use various medieval styles in role playing environments and scenarios.
Carlivan here is a great man. I have shared many rp stories and many rp-pvp events with him side by side. We have slayed many enemies of the great Alliance together and lost many good heroes at our sides. One thing I am sure that he is capable of managing big numbers of soldiers in and out of the battlefield. He has knowledge in military tactics as well as in administration of a military groups.
That is why I suggest the Lothar Company for those who seeks for a gritty and realistic military events in Warcraft world with medieval taste - this guild is your place to spend your time at. As a rp-pvp’er myself, I still remember many great events which I shared with military role players very good. So I suggest those people who wants to feel the real taste of medieval military - join up the ranks of the Lothar Company and write your own heroic stories in the fields of battle for the Alliance.
Lothar Company personnel will attend Stormwind’s Keep to there be officially welcomed to the ranks of His Majesty’s Army.
Once the introductions and oaths have been sworn, soldiers will receive their official orders notifying them of “deployment” on their first tour of duty.
Fresh faced farmers will soon become solid and stoic soldiers of Stormwind.
However, before deployment a hearty feast and much merriment will be had!
The men of Lothar Company were sworn into the ranks of Stormwind’s armies tonight, and quite immediately sent off to partake in far more advanced training, in the mountains and foothills of Kul Tiras.
The company immediately assembled by a Kul Tiran transport awaiting them and soon set off from Stormwind to Boralus, coming under pirate attack only a few hours from the safety of the Kul Tiran capital. The Dauntless was quickly overwhelmed and eventually broke apart after many broadsides from the pirate ship, infantrymen abandoning ship to fight their way onto the ship of their attackers, enduring quite the struggle.
Eventually L Coy managed to set alight the munitions stores of the pirate ship, swimming ashore upon what turned out to be the southeastern shore of Kul Tiras, harried, worn and bloodied.
Lothar Company is a human-only infantry guild, comprised of human characters from within the Alliance, be it from Silverpine to Westfall to Kul’Tiras, and so at this moment we are not accepting other races given that it would not fit the theme of the guild.
In addition, we predominantly recruit classes that can hold a sword and board in the frontline infantry such as paladins and warriors, although there is a smaller ranged contingent of archers comprised of hunters within the guild as well.
We are 100% looking to establish connections(IC and OOC) with our fellow military guilds, for collabs and inter-guild networking, so that is definitely something to consider in the future.
Lothar Company is currently stationed at Arom’s Stand, Drustvar, after a dreadful night of marching through the dangerous woodlands east of the mountains. While most of the Coven was dealt with long ago, there were still remnants of cultist activity and a dark, mysterious fog.
A giant wolf with eyes burning with an icy blue also attacked the men close to the end of their journey, severely wounding some of them before being defeated.
Now L Coy prepares for further training action into the far less hospitable mountains of Drustvar…
While we are not actively recruiting while deployed as we are, you can still hit up any of the officers(or guildmembers, they’ll send you our way) and ask about Lothar Company.
Maybe we can even sort out some goodrp excuse for you to join us in Drustvar?
