Where will you actually be roleplaying, given Kul Tiras is likely to be phased and sharded until next expack?
Hi. Our RP will mainly be around Kul Tiras as I believe once you have completed the quests in Stormsong (or parts of it) everyone falls within the same phase / shard. However, that does not exclude us from RPing in the Eastern Kingdoms or Kalimdor. The Mercer faction are merchants and could spend quite some time RPing in Booty Bay or Ratchet, or similar places that make sense. :)
TL:DR - Mainly Kul Tiras.

Sounds amazing. Sorry if I'm stupid not to get it, but are you neutral to the Alliance or what's your stand there?
Now, this sounds like an interesting concept. While I'm not overly fond of guilds with emphasis on feudalism RP (House guilds). There's no denying that great detail has been put into this concept and considering how Kul Tiras is portrayed to be ruled on a political level in BFA.
However, Crowton raised a valid concern about the OOC drama which usually go in hand with RP surrounding feadalism and politics. I'm even more apprensive about the prefences regarding any prospecfting member to be atleast 18 years old especially considering that WoW has a PEGI rating of 12. The age preferences alone is enough to raise some eyebrows and the speculations which could come from that doesn't really put your guild in a favorable light. Age doesn't always factor into maturity and even adults are capable of being obnoxious.
Nevertheless, I do understand the need for some restrictions and I assume they're there as to pre-emptively deal with the previously mentioned drama which could bleed over from IC to OOC. I still don't think that an age restriction is the way to go and that an application process would serve the guild's growth better.
With all that being said, as someone whom RP's a Kul Tiran Noble (albeit a Baron of a petty hamlet in Tiragarde Sound) and an Alliance Loyalist (whom serves with the SI:7, shhh...) I do look foward to RP'ing with your guild and see for myself what it has to offer.
Alright, I can see where you are going with this and as such I have a question. From what I’ve read to this very moment this sounds like a very promising roleplaying concept and the amount of effort put into it to this very moment seems like a lot.
However, how exactly are you going to ensure that the guild members will avoid OOC drama which occurres fairly often when it comes to roleplaying connected to lands (feudalism) and politics?
In response to the concerns raised, I think it's important to mention how well the people behind the guild actually know one another beforehand. The drama associated with this sort of roleplay usually stem from players being power-hungry and, more often than not, it's OOCly motivated. All the house-to-house relations have been developed together from the start, and pre-existing feuds have been put in place to give the RP some more meat to start off with, rather than act as a way to further some sort of personal OOC agenda.
Shoutout to Faraam, Knight of the Tide

Starting out we will be neutral towards the Alliance, as is Kul Tiras. Once Kul Tiras makes the move towards joining the Alliance, so will it affect the RP that we have and eventually we will become a part of it. However, I do not know how we will "join" the Alliance as this is something that will play out IC :)

The concept of constant OOC beef between players is strictly an environment bred by the fact that on WoW RP servers people constantly force themselves to RP with folks they can't/wouldn't deal with if they had a choice.
If you have a selective recruitment process and actually emphasize the fact that it's just RP and not serious business most drama gets filtered out. Who would've thought.
In any case, good luck with the concept! As hesitant as I am about people jumping on the New Expansion Guild bandwagon, I still hope you do well.
Intriguing! Best of luck with everything!
I may be in touch.
Great concept, solid roleplayers, fun people to hang with! What more can you want?
Hopefully the Westfall-Boralus Trading co will be able to do business with you guys!
This sure looks interesting. I always love these concepts, although I must admit their quality can very greatly. This seems like one of the better examples for sure though. As I always offer people focusing on specific areas in RP - if you could need a map for some extra background depth (like of a house's estates), then feel free to hit me up. It's all off-screen of course, but personally I think it can give some extra life to already exciting description of "headcanon" places
You can see examples of what I mean here: https://imgur.com/a/VjAHE31
Either way - good luck!
Old Town seal of approval.
Yeee, gonna be dope; be there or be square.
Very cool and interesting idea! I like the use of art (especially the DS2 Faraam armor set for the look of the knights) as well as the theme. I also like the approach of using small noble houses and not people that have three hundred men under their command but only ever show up with ten. I very much look forward to seeing you guys, and perhaps working with you in the future. Good luck with everything!
A friendly bunch - can't wait for the guild to launch properly in BFA!
I'm quite curious, where do Kul Tiran Druids fit into Stormwake? After reading through the document I can see there's been a lot of mention of this Tidemother who I presume is Kul Tiras' main faith but nothing regarding the soon to be Human druids.
(I've not played the beta so I honestly don't know anything about Kul Tiras except the basic shizzle at this point)
