You know these meetings are not competitions, so if you have any kind of writings you wish to share you would be most welcome, without anyone judging.
Most of the contributers at these events would technically both IC’ly and OOC’ly be amateur poets, including Bertel.
Once we even had a Dwarf reciting a poem about farts, and it was fine…
On the other hand thinking about it, I don’t think I ever saw him since, so you might be onto something there… 
In any case regardless, you would be very welcome at the meetings, even if just to spectate and listen.

Another amazing meeting!
No thanks to me though.
I am really sorry and sincerely apologize if anyone was left in a different shard and gave up, due to me failing to anticipate the sharding still being active in Stormwind.
Hence a raid to prevent sharding was made and announced last minute, all thanks to a good friend who helped me arrange and announce this, a big thanks to them.
I really should have anticipated this and have announced that a raid would be made to prevent sharding when I initially posted the announcement of this month’s meeting, both here, on Argent Archives and on Discord.
Though as said it all ended up as another great meeting, even if a bit fewer people than usual, but as usual the timing was pretty perfect, that is the meeting magically accidentally ending up lasting just about the 1 hour I aim for.
Next meeting will be in Dalaran, Friday the 13th of January, but more about that at a later point (including the Winter Veil themed poem by Bertel himself that he opened the meeting with, and the two other original poems that was send to him, which he recited at the meeting as well, and of course, as usually, Actelon’s full video documentation of the entire meeting).
Thanks to everyone who showed up, a special thanks to those who contributed with poems, making this meeting a truly great one, despite all, and, again, my sincere apology to anyone who might have shown up in vain being left in a different shard.

A Winter Veil’s Blessing
Snowfall, snow fights, jingle bells
Great Grandfather’s wondrous spell
Pine trees clad in shining garbs
Bards and Val’kyrs playing harps
Winter Veil in Titan halls
Winter Veil in merchant stalls
Joyous bliss to small and tall
Celebration, festive balls
Heed the call of winter’s coming
Great Grandfather’s mighty summon
Little Helpers making sure
Splendour shines on rich and poor

On the Titan’s kind command

My Duty
Only a child from the womb of a machine
Harvested from tank like waking from a sleep
Born with me, from the first breath that I take
Know his mistakes
A world that found redemption through a planet’s dying lungs

What he had done?
There is no glory or greatness found here
No tales of valiance or of courage over fear

The ground glistens and sparkles
With a covering of snow.

But it’s all in good spirits
So they don’t get a warning.
For the dwarves in the north
This is business as normal.
While the blood elves seek clothing
That is warming yet formal.
A forsaken gets hit by snow thrown from afar.
The orc readies another. Lok’tar ogar!
The gnome pesters a draenei
To decorate with the Light.
A small naaru tops a tree.
Oh, what a sight!
The dracthyr fly round,
Melting dangling ice
Such sights are still new ones
But apparently quite nice.
The kitchens cook warm food,
