[A-RP] <The Arclight Association> - Heroes of Gnomanity!

Arclight continues in its adventures. Our expedition to Storm’s Peaks reaches closer but not before we had a short stay in Stormsong Valley. Once more we have secured corporate sponsorship for the association from Mildenhall Meadery. In the wake of the war state funding has been a little light for such an outfit as Arclight so we looked further afield.

“The Arclight Association, Officially Sponsored by Mildenhall Meadery”

In other more recent as of today news, our continuing efforts to warm up to the Mechagnomes of Mechagon may soon bear fruit in the next patch. Where upon Arclight will of course be open to our mechanised brothers and sisters. Uniting the two Gnomish cities under one banner.

However our sights settle on a Titan facility to the north, will there be plunder? Will there be chaos? Will there be glory and scientific discoveries? Stay tuned until next time.

Arclight’s third Great Gnomeregan Run went wonderfully, with everyone just barely crossing the finish line amd representing themselves among the gnomish crowds. In spite of this, our intrepid adventurers discovered a new clutch of twilight whelps mere days before the festivity, delving into the cursed halls of Grim Batol where only madness resides.

The corrupted dragons dangerously close to home turf aren’t the only thing to be worrying about, with our test subject whelp being taken by a mysterious shrouded man for a copious amount of gold after being handed to the venerable Doctor Hieronymus Blam.

Nonetheless, our expedition to Northrend begins as planned on Tuesday. Already greeted with worrying news before even departing, it seems that Gnomeregan has lost contact with Fizzcrank Airstrip… and thus, their transport to the Storm Peaks, where their target awaits.

Arclight continues its expedition through Northrend. Having dealt with renewed Nerubian interference in the Borean Tundra. The wastelands of Dragonblight and a necromancer in a cave causing some small headache. Along with a nasty meeting with a minefield on the way to K3. Now we huddle down and recover ready for the final stretch to Uldis in the Storm Peaks hot on the trail of some Mechagon loyalists and mutineers of the airfield.

Along with some arguments about some perhaps looted necromancy tomes.

How many times do I have to tell you that creepy books looted from necromancers and bound in human flesh are bad?

Arclight along with the Bilgewater Battallion ended the Mechagonian loyalist group that were up to no good in Uldis. Infiltration was done, goblins disguised as prisoners, insults, general bragging. There is sure to be much praise from the Rustbolt Gnomes for our joint efforts in ending one threat. If you’re a goblin you should totally check out the Bilgewater Battalion bunch of good people we have done a few joint events with lately.

Alas Mobius Doomcoil the leader of the loyalists met his end too at the cost of my own Gnomes life. Lyra Steamsmith, the Titan of Tinkertown went down in a blaze of Gnomish glory. Her own death as metal as can be, holding onto a gyrocopter with her one good arm and headbutting the engine pod until it broke sending them both to a spiralling death.

I would include an image of Mobius Doomcoil for reference but alas can’t, so instead just picture a mix between Dr Robotnik, Baron Harkonnen and the GamesMaster head.

After returning home from a pyrrhic victory against Mechagonian loyalist forces in Northrend, Arclight finds Dun Morogh beset by invading trolls bolstering the Frostmane forces!

In addition, dark forces lurk in the shadows of New Tinkertown in an attempt to destroy the gnomish people from within; will our intrepid heroes be able to uncover the source in time, or will they too fall to the grasp of the Old God?

Find out next time on Arclight!

'twas great purging trolls together. Lets do it again some time. For Khaz Modan and all that. :hammer:

One thing is guaranteed always more Trolls to murder in Dun Morogh. Even if certainly the Dwarves are more bloodthirsty than the Gnomes.

Following a trek through the wilds of Zandalar while trying to avoid provoking the locals, Arclight found a way into the abandoned facility of Uldir in order to make use of its machinery to cleanse themselves of lingering corruption.

Now with their minds cleared (for now) of grasping shadows, the gnomes make for the sands of Uldum alongside their goblin frie-… ahem, associates in an attempt to crush the remaining Mechagon loyalist front spearheaded by the nefarious G-30-RG-3.

Not to mention the weird and wonderful masses of firepower we brought with us, included but not limited to an ancient eredar construct, artillery salvaged from the Legion’s invasion, and a haunted spider tank filled with bones that won’t stop shouting inane nonsense.

We have magic rings too. When did that ever go wrong?

Arclight continues its adventures this time in Pandaria. Their expedition through Uldum left scars but victory was gained against the Mechagonian loyalists who were trying to restart the Origination process.

Now however they are taking time to relax, enjoy the delights of Pandaria, heal wounds and improve workforce morale. Exploring some Mogu ruins, taking a tour of the Arboretum and Order of the Cloud Serpent. Now resting in the Jade Temple diving through the extensive library they have.

I am sure nothing bad will happen to Pandaria shortly…

As 8.3 approaches, Arclight is sure to have a whirlwind of existential terror ahead of them as the Black Empire rises.

But for now, the gnomes and their associates are blissfully unaware of the coming storm, enjoying a sightseeing tour of the Jade Forest for some R&R after almost getting themselves killed one too many times.

The reunification of the gnomish kingdoms is just around the corner, and the Superintendent is one of the first to step up for upgrades after sustaining critical damage in Uldum.

Will our heroes emerge triumphant, or will we make even more questionable pacts with unspeakable entities? Find out next time on Arclight!

With the unification of Gnomeregan and Mechagon, the Arclight Association is proud to say we will definitely be accepting Mecahgnomes. If you are a Mechagnome we would be more than happy to welcome you with open arms.

Arclight has arrived in Pandaria alongside the Bilgewater Battalion currently chillin, relaxin, acting all cool in Sri-La Village. Lot of Horde about, trying to not start a fifth war while at it.

We continue onto into Pandaria with the destination of the Vale in mind just a few roadblocks along the way such as Pandaria falling apart with Mantid, Mogu and fleshy horrors of eldritch evil.

Are the guild friendly with Goblins overall after the co-operation at Mechagon? What is your stance to the Horde as whole?

Overall the guild is quite open to working with Goblins though as always a few grumblings about such will always happen. We often do joint events in fact with the Horde side Goblin guild Bilgewater Battalion representing such, this stemmed from the whole uneasy cooperation at Mechagon.

A few characters in the guild are still very anti-Horde and anti-Goblins but majority open-minded (traitors).
