The Crystal Path concluded their adventures in the Ohn’ahran Plains, assisting the Green Dragonflight protect the Ancient Bough against the primalists once more, and clearing the oppressive stormy clouds that lingered in the sky.
Delving into the research of an ancient emerald wyrm, they have uncovered some long lost knowledge and truths about the mysterious life energy, along with the strange animals and plants that the caravan have been encountering across the isles.
Now armed with this knowledge, they venture into the Azure Span, to try and recover and protect as many of the specimens as they can, against the incursion of rot and decay festering in the forests. Meanwhile two of the ancient titanic artefacts stolen from the Dragonscale Expedition are still yet to be found.
The Crystal Path have been adventuring across the Azure Span (and beyond) over the past month. Working with the Dragonscale Expedition, the Pathfinders have employed their conservation skills to identify and secure the emergant but endangered life at a couple of the sites where spiritual energy is blooming, but is threatened by the decay. Following the leads of the decay they managed to free one gnoll tribe from its foul grip and rescued a pair of Tuskarr, who took them to their home in Iskaara.
Staying with the Iskaaran Tuskaar, the pathfinders learned of their plight at the hands of a monsterous sea beast that had been agitating the elements, creating storms. Believing there was more to the story, the Pathfinders went in search of the creature to find out what had been causing its pain. They learned that it had been injured by shadowflame infused weapons, driving it to madness. meanwhile the Tuskarr who sought revenge upon the beast for the loss of his love, had been accidentally stirring the storms via the use of an ancient artefact. After removing the metaphorical thorns from the side of the beast, and providing closure for the mourning widow, the seas were calmed and the trade routes between Iskaara and Uktulut safe once more.
But now the sinister forces responsible for the theft of the artefacts, and distribution of the shadowflame weapons are plotting their next scheme, and the Crystal Path have ventured inland to join up with the Kirin Tor at camp Antonidas, to find a way to thwart them.
The Crystal Path’s quest across the Azure Span has come to an end. Working with the Kirin Tor and the Blue Dragonflight, they exposed the work of the reality bending infinites, and the bitter devotee of Malygos, who sought to drive a wedge between Kirin Tor and Blue Dragons once again. They had been united by the Crystal Path’s long time enemy, the Shadowy Dragon Rashiron.
Working alongside the Blue Dragons, Kirin Tor, and Tuskarr, the Pathfinders were able to drive Rashiron from Vakthros and prevent him from stealing the information he was searching for through the Ley Lines. With the tower returned to its rightful owners once more, peace was restored for now.
Following the battle, the caravan travelled into the heart of the Dragon Isles, the city of Valdrakken, where they now stay. Their work to collect, conserve, and study the strange new forms of life blooming around the isle reaches its next step here, as they prepare to transfer the creatures to their new home in the Gardens of Unity. From there, finding more specimens, learning their secrets, and uncovering what their foes want from them, is next on the agenda.
It would appear our adventures in Thaldraszus aren’t quite at an end yet but the forums demand an update~
Our guild members have been studying hard at the Algeth’ar Academy as we get closer to deciphering a secret that runs across the history of the Accord and the Dragon isles.
Will we be able to uncover the mystery of the magics locked away? Or will we be trapped in an endless cycle of shenanigans and detentions?
The Crystal Path decided to begin their adventures in the new year, by heading down in the Zaralek Cavern beneath the Dragon Isles. They delved beneath the earth in search of missing explorers, who had vanished in the pursuit of an ancient artefact.
After some investigation and tough battles, the missing expedition are safe and sound, and the ancient watcher relic that can turn people to stone has been retrieved.
However, the sinister machinations of the Shadowy Dragon Rashiron appear to be culminating in the darkened underbelly of the Dragon Isles, with his ultimate prize somewhere within Aberrus. More trials and tribulations to come, for the valliant Pathfinders
