Outcast Heroes

Ever wandering the realm in search of terrible foes or desperate souls, the Errant are a band of wandering adventurers that follow the creed of helping the realm for the sole purpose of bettering it. They take no gold nor glory for their deeds, surviving off naught but good will and their own willpower. No task is too grand or request too far for them to march towards, spanning all the world in pursuits of their quest.

Founded on the belief that the circumstances of one’s capabilities are irrelevant, the only thing that matters is putting such power to good use. Be they wrathful warlocks summoning terrifying demons, a former bandit looking to atone for their crimes, or simply noble heroes who feel they don’t quite abide by the rest of the realm’s formalities. All are welcome as long as they’re willing to play by the rules.

The Errant are recruiting!

We're currently looking for a handful of new friends to join in on the fun of our many adventures, our avenue of roleplay takes the form of long-form campaigns, social events and casual camp-roleplay. If you'd like to take a glimpse at some of our many tales, all of our campaigns are regularly posted to our argent archives page!

Who are we looking for?

The Errant are quite the patchwork band, all manner of characters are welcome in their camp. Our rules regarding characters mainly revolve around the out-of-character conduction of them, it's plenty of fun to play a super strong hero, but that power will need to be managed for the sake of giving everyone an equal chance to shine throughout their stories. If you think that might be for you, we'd love to hear more about your character!

How do I go about joining?

If you’re interested and would like to reach out, feel free to add me on discord by ‘h.ydra’ or find me in game on ‘Beranhame’ or failing that any available members of the Errant.

Our recruitment process begins with a brief discussion about the character you’d like to join in on, affording you the chance to ask any questions you’re yet curious about before swinging by in-character to meet some members of the band. We like to give it a few days to see if people really mesh and enjoy the concept before bringing you on board!

Collaboration and Hosting

We’re very open to cross-guild collaboration, on occasion hosting our campaigns for multiple guilds. If you’d like to cross paths with us feel free to reach out!

We are also receptive to individuals who are interesting in hosting their own events and campaigns, with some time afforded to get integrated we’d love to know if you’d be interesting in joining our ‘Dungeon-Master’ team!

Where are your ranks?!

The Errant do not follow a traditional ranking system, instead upon graduating from the initial trial rank all members are treated as equals; They are not an official or formal order, they're rag-tag heroes!

Despite my original intentions to remain guildless for the foreseeable future, I can happily say that I’m thoroughly enjoying my time in the Errant and lament I didn’t join sooner! Lovely atmosphere IC and OOC and a wide array of immersive DMing, storytelling and character interaction from Beranhame and other guildmembers ranging from social gatherings, small side quests, and grand adventures across Azeroth!

A v cool group of people. I hadn’t RP’ed at all in a long while when I came back and was quite rusty, so I was nervous about hopping back into RP, but the people here were really helpful and friendly with helping me get back into the swing of things. Concept is solid + very active community, and while I’ve only been to one or two events so far, they’ve been S++ in how fun & creative they are. If you’re on the fence at all about joining a guild or nervous about approaching, you’ll be good here.
