Unfortunately - our Druid Game has had to be cancelled due to an IRL commitment that cannot be avoided. I apologise immensely for this and hope it can return next year.

Fair Day: There are often times when tournaments have days upon days of events and wonderful things to watch; but sometimes, there are times where things can calm and people are given a chance to socialise. The Fair Day is just that! A calmer day, with only one main event, where peddlers and entertainers are given time to sell their wares to those who travel to see the joy of the Games. The Grand Gilneas Games starts off with a tremendous turn out and even more wonderful sportsmanship within their duels. But it all started with the opening speeches:
Good evening, ladies and gentleman! Thank you for joining us here today on this special occasion of the second, Grand Gilneas Games!
This is an auspicious time, to celebrate many things. We first come together, to remember all that we have lost. People. Cities. Lively hoods. It was not long ago that this city was no longer in our grasp; but a shard of grass lost in the wind.
Yet now, we can stand amongst one another, with our friends and family, with strangers that are to made into them, and know that we have once more a home. A place to thrive, to grow and to enjoy life again.
We have much to offer, duels, jousting, riflery, magical duels, and the lyrical challenge. This year, we have added two different things!
We will have both the race of Gilneas, and our fair day. Where those can test their skills as horse riders and others will gather to sell their goods!
Tonight, we being with unwavering excitement of the week to come, a place for those here to try out their skills. Test their mettle. Become winners, of the Grand Gilneas Games!
I thank you all for joining me once more, now, if you could all make your way to the Military District, the Games, will begin! For Gilneas! For the Alliance!

Really enjoyed meeting people at yesterday’s market. Looking forward to attending again on Saturday evening to spectate the Magical Duels!
FYI concerning Sunday’s Masquerade Ball - there’ll be two new guided dances to partake in, after the Lyrical Challenge. Both dances require a partner, so bring your family, friend or foe to the dance floor. As usual, the choreographies will be instructed step by step, with /emotes written in CAPS (you might like to macro /bow, /wave & /clap). Or you can just watch and copy the moves of Fairsky and Eiresione to dance along!
There’ll be background music played to help people get immersed in the dancing - the link will be in my alt’s TRP as well:
