About the Highvale
The Highvale are the people of Quel’Danil Lodge, who historically were High Elves that seeked to maintain relations with the Alliance while creating a safe refuge for those in need. Our aim is to create an RP guild based on this concept, but open to all races, as more people choose to defend and settle in the Hinterlands (like some Draenei, Dwarves, and Gilneans have before). We also want a guild that allows people to express their characters without being restricted by military uniforms and drills. There are many roles open for Civilians, Workers, Soldiers, and Nobles alike; as we try to achieve a variety of RP with something for everyone to do.
What We Do
We are currently focusing on the current cross-guild RP campaign in the North, aiding other guilds in fighting the Trolls and the Undead, but we will also be present in Stormwind for recruitment and venture south more often for diplomatic purposes. Through the week we are active with casual RP and some training at Quel’Danil Lodge, or wherever we may be based for an event.
Our events range from social gatherings, to diplomatic meetings, to military expeditions, to adventures into the territories of evil. We hope to bring a variety of stories and concepts and focus on allowing peoples characters to develop with us however they wish. Our aim is for everyone to be able to contribute to the OOC and IC building of Quel’Danil and its people.
Recruitment
Message Keyare, Admetus, or Mylaria in-game to ask about joining or for more info. We can arrange IC recruitment either in Stormwind or Quel’Danil, or invite you on an OOC basis at first and talk about different ways of having your character introduced ICly.
Other Guilds
If you’re the leader or officer of another guild and you think we could work together in an IC alliance, event, or storyline; get in touch and we’d be more than happy to talk! The Highvale hopes to support all kinds of guilds; and maybe clash with a few evil ones.
We will not only be High Elves. We allow others races like the Draenei and humans. Also we are seeking to become solid friends with most Alliance people who stay in the north.
They may not be a part of the High Vale, but there surely must be some travellers there. Which is the reason i think, Keyare may know more of that matter.
The IC catalyst of our guild is the realisation that the Highvale could do more for the Alliance as it has always in lore seeked to maintain relations with them, and so with the low population of High Elves they are expanding their offer of aid and refuge to all races of the Alliance to help the Highvale grow.
We have one High Elf that uses the arcane, having only done so since the reigniting of the Sunwell. Most people disagree with him using the Sunwell again, but its not forbidden, since all are accepted no matter their plight. In lore there is an NPC resident of the lodge who learned the Arcane too from a visiting Human I believe. So while IC it’s unpopular, it’s not illegal in any way.

The Highvale Elves, with their close relations with the Wildhammer and general rejection of the arcane are a really neat concept and it’s great to see a guild focusing on that. Hope it all goes well!

Guys for those looking for High Elf rp I thought I would just give abit of an update, the Highvale community essentially stopped existing as a guild a few weeks ago now, we had issues with officers n erp/minors and then the leader left also, with no one willing to step up and take the reigns the guild and discord has essentially died, thought I would mention that incase people visit this thread hoping to join, for those looking for High Elf rp there are active guilds on the server, I would reference but for the life of me outside of Azure Dawn I dont know any others, so hit up those threads if looking for some Quel’dorei fun!
I’m gonna assume you were part of this guild, in which case hats off to you for your honesty and I’m sorry to hear that things went south to such a horrid degree.
Yep, in all fairness to the leader she did deal with it instantly, kicked the person moment it was discovered and reported, the guild just wasnt really established enough to survive that ontop of the leader then leaving couple days after, one of those things really.
@Obahar, aye I was a part of it on my helf alt, for about a week it didnt last long.
@Sharpsilver, agreed such things should never be tolerated.
