Really great to see these guys back, had fond memories of them in my time as Pemfrey, to the point I am new remaking that character to rejoin them on their knightly pursuits.

To all good folk that would happen upon his parchment, I urge you to read further and consider the proposal I here proclaims.

With the summons having been sent, the Glorious Cavaliers of the Peak and the Gryphon do once more find themselves called to arms as one. Yet as the sword is naught but rust without the whetstone to maintain it, so too are the knights without the retainers to aid them in their quest. As such I declare that any who would bear the illustrious talents as listed below, and wish with their very soul for the prestige and reward that they so deserve for their skills send forth missives unto myself.

  • Blacksmiths skilled in the art of crafting and maintaining arms and armour; the elegance of their work is of the upmost important with special note to gilding and enamel-work.

  • Bards and troubadours gifted in instrument and voice, with the wit to great wondrous ballads and inspiring epics of our valiant deeds as well as recite the deeds of the Knights of old.

  • Huntsmen and Game keeper skilled in the arts of Falconry, boar and deer hunting. Those with experience in both tracking beasts and assisting the Cavaliers on their hunts are desired.

  • Enchanters with the wisdom and grace so as to bind potent and illustrious magics unto the arms and armour of the Cavaliers, turning mere metal into relics worthy of legend.

If you believe yourself to bear the prowess as listed above or other talents you consider to be of worth to chivalry itself, then heed the valiant call of the Peak and bring yourself forth unto the glory that awaits you!

-Sealed in the name of Sir Jack Asheton, Knight-Gallant of the Gryphon

Setting into the warm pre-evening sun, the Cavaliers and their compatriots set about celebrating their reunion with a traditional boar hunt! With spears in hand and each eyeing up the glory of claiming the largest kill, they set forth into the forests with eager anticipation playing upon their minds. Not one, but two boars fell to their combined spears, the largest of which fell to the mere dagger of the noble Sir Gareth Fenn! Yet as the dogs picked up the third scent, it lead them not onto a great prize but instead unto the burnt out remains of a small hamlet. With both the ashes and trail left cold, there was no choice but to return to Lakeshire for now
but the readiness with which the Huntsmaster dismissed the danger plays on many a mind

Looking out from the edge of the Lake as the constable wandered away, he allowed himself a rather satisfied smile at his thoughts turned to the evening’s events. For a Robber Baron had set itself up within the Eastern reaches of Redridge, claiming dominion over all the lands around his keep and demanding taxes on all those who settled there
else they would face his cruel “justice”. Worse still, they had dared to declare their hunt
the -Cavalier’s- hunt as naught but poaching! The sheer nerve! Sir Jack’s fist clenched in anger at the very thought of such a ludicrous and false accusation, for even such absurdity can do much to sully the otherwise glorious repute he had built for the Cavaliers.

Yet they had proved the falsity of that claim this day, in spite of roving brigands and even an Ettin the “Lord” Walther had sent their way, they had bested such a challenge and routed him from the crumbling ruin he dubbed a keep. And such, while the Robber Baron was coursing cross country with what little ill-gotten gains he could gather, his Cavaliers were standing victorious in the warmth and comfort of the cozy little lakeside town.

“For those that do not waver a’fore the might of the ignoble, shall earn glory the vile could never dream of

I’m loving the interactions that Clan Stormheart have had with The Knights Gryphon. You are as delightful IC as you are OOC. It’s been a pleasure RPing with you and I’m looking forward to more in the days to come!

Proper nice lot this bunch. Jack himself is a top lad both IC and OOCly. Would highly recommend.

And so the Raiders lay dead, defeated and sent into the charred earth beneath their aerial battlefield, raising a great cheer from Cavalier and Dwarf alike for this was no mere victory alone
This was the final sealing of an Oath forged days ago, one that heralded a brighter future for the Knights that even they had not foreseen.

This more so than anything else was a symbol of the bond between the Gryphon and its Rider, such as his new Cavaliers had proven by so boldly taking to the skies and striking down the fiends that had dared to accost them before. It was a message, a message unto all of the world that the skies are blue for a damned good reason; For they belong only unto the Alliance!

And so ends a week long stay in the Twilight Highlands, a more enjoyable experience than even we had predicted thanks to the presence of the Stormheart clan! Together, not only did we make some truly amazing rp but have made an awesome connection which will have the new Cavalier’s being sent to the pro’s in the Highlands to show them whats what when it comes to Gryphons! But for now, the Cavaliers move northwards, to the icy wastes and their next quest for glory!

A very nice and friendly guild filled with interesting characters. I had a jolly good time when I joined them on one of their adventures in Lakeshire. Kudos to the GM for hosting a compelling and enjoyable event!

From one bloody battlefield onto another - The Knights’ unending thirst for glory and their vow to the Alliance led them through many of these during the recent weeks. No matter if in the fray against the fearsome yet foul Dragonmaw or facing a poor, corrupted rabble that has gathered together to preach their dark Gods
The Cavalier’s lance and the gryphon have proven their might once again and only added but another chapter to the Peak’s glorious tale.

This quiet, short while that came afterwards, it is a chance for a brief respite, goblet of favourite wine and a plenty of beautifully painted portaits

But as long as there is honour and glory left to be wrenched out of the evil’s claws, the Cavaliers won’t settle down, for it is in their blood to constantly seek a worthy challenge to test themself. Soon they shall once more claim the skies as their own. For the Glory of the Alliance!

Thank you for some nice roleplay in the Eastweald today.

Thank you! It was a great fight and I enjoyed it a lot, and from what I have already heard from the other Cavaliers, they did as well.

I will certainly try to organise a few more of these in the future! I wonder about In-Character stance of the Peak’s Gallant, though. Jack must be rolling his eyes at the idea of Thyron angrily demanding to go back.
