After a hard fought campaign in the Stonetalon Mountains, our Tidesages are exhausted, our marines are injured, and our Captain Worthings is both! The Tidewatch acted with pure honour as that water wheel was sabotaged, swooping down on our gryphons and a dragonhawk after a gruelling aerial battle to fly Alliance forces to safety.
Now we are in Astranaar, resting up before we take our ship back home. Recruitment will soon be open once more, and we encourage anyone wishing to join to drop us a whisper or letter in game, find us in the guild finder or even reply to this thread at any time!
Tonight the Tidewatch arrive in Stormwind to sort out recruitment arrangements in the Alliance capital as we await the medal ceremony after the recent Stonetalon campaign. We’ll also be meeting a few ambassadors who will be joining us in Boralus, acting as diplomatic and legal representatives for their peoples interests in Kul Tiras as well as acting as quest givers of sorts for the guild!
Speaking of diplomacy, on Thursday we’ll be travelling up to Hearthglen. Who would have thought that a Forsaken under the Bilgewater Battalion’s employ being addled by the magics of the loyalists would be the key to diplomacy after a week of vicious warfare? Not I!
We’ll be in Stormwind until Next Wednesday evening, at which point we’ll return home to Kul Tiras for a month. So if your character is in Stormwind and wants to join the Tidewatch while we’re there in full force, now is your chance!
Two of the commanding officers are being held in Tol Dagor! As Worthings and Cassian are imprisoned for unexpected crimes against the Admiralty, our enemies move in the shadows… The crew don’t buy it that they’re simply corrupt and neither do our new ambassadors from the races of the Alliance.
With our new niche as an ambassadorial expeditionary force, we promise hi-jinx on the high seas as we travel to distant lands in the name of Kul Tiras and the ambassadors of the Alliance who we aid in order to raise our fair nations standing within the Alliance. With an over arching storyline, multiple personal stories and subplots to follow and a lashing of political intrigue and that amazing Kul Tiras RP, it’s going to be a great first year for the Tidewatch!
Our revised ranks and rules system will soon be up in the second post describing just how the dynamics of the Tidewatch work and we have big plans for the guilds progression based on how much we grow.
Feel free to whisper Worthings, Priors, Jacobturn, Arnoldl, Anchormight or any member for that matter to ask about recruitment or just generally how you can get involved in our activities, we hope to RP with you soon!
The plot thickens further as Lieutenant Turner has been overtaken by the manipulative magics of the cult we now know as the Crimson Tide and incited a prison riot in Tol Dagor in order to kill his own father who was being held there!
With Lieutenant Turner on the run and Captain Worthings cured with an opportune vial of moonwell water from Professor Mendenhall; everything hangs in the balance as to whether the Tidewatch save the rest of their commanding officers, and old enemies have became allies in the process…
We’ve recently spent a delightful little vacation at the bottom of the ocean, where we - reluctantly, and briefly - worked together with the Horde against fanatical Naga! And albeit we couldn’t whack the head honcho like we wanted, we still had a great time! There were only a few cases of backstabbing and near-death situations!
Aside that, we’ve visited a haunted park full of decrepit mechs, climbed a treacherous mountain only to plummet deep below the earth and fight a humongous plant monster, battled wickerbeasts that would put the drust to shame, and many more!
If you’d be interested in adventures like this, definitely look us up!
Hello Tidewatch I was directed to this link from
Hartuum and am interested in joining a Kul Tiran guild. I normally RP on Horde and would like to give Alliance a chance. When someone is online I can have a chat about it if that is fine with you?
