The Draenei of Azure Watch invite to join them in the Tishamaat, a day of reflection, remembrance and growth!

What is the Tishamaat?

Long ago, the Tishamaat was practiced as a solitary sacrament, carried out each year by the Eredar of Argus. By inscribing their burdens on memory stones and tossing them into an open flame, they let go of the past and embraced their future. However, with the threat of the Burning Legion drawing ever closer, the ancient tradition of the Tishamaat became lost to time and fell into obscurity…

Times have changed. Eredar society, once fragmented, has now come together. Never again will the Draenei feel alone partaking in the Tishamaat, and the Krokul, Lightforged, Penitent (with a guard) and Oshu’nei are welcome to rejoin their kin and engage with this ancient tradition.

Join us for two nights of celebration and immerse yourself in Eredar culture, complete with prayer, workshops, market trade, Jed’hin and much more!

OOC Details:

  • Whilst this is a Draenei focused event, all Alliance races are more than welcome to attend!

  • We are using Elodor, in Draenor, as a substitute location for Azuremyst Isles in Kalimdor. In order to reach Elodor, you can either take the portal to Ashran from the Wizard’s Sanctum in Stormwind, then fly to Elodor, or use the Garrison Hearthstone and fly there.

  • As we get closer to the date of the event, some details might be changed or added.

  • This event is a collaborative effort made possible by many Draenei roleplayers!

  • If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch with Hartuum in-game!

  • We ask attendees to consider the area is guarded and avoid causing trouble that might risk interrupting or slowing down the scheduled activities. Allot of time and effort has been put into this event and we hope it will go smoothly for everyone joining. Thank you!

The Draenei come together to prepare the Festival grounds ahead of time. Resources shall be gathered and market stands will be build. Alongside this, the Tishataan shall be elected.

Thursday, May 8th 2025 - The Tishamaat

19:45 OPENING CEREMONY

A parade of Elekks and words of welcome, with a brief introduction to what the festival is all about, and information on the evening’s activities.

20:00 THE TISHAMART - Wanted: Draenei merchants!

Draenei merchants open their stalls, bringing Draenic goods, services, food and other various items to the Tishamaat!

We are searching for Draenei merchants for the Market, who sell Draenic goods and services. If you are interested in hosting a stall here, please leave the details below.

While last year we held a showcase, this year there shall be a full fledged Jed’hin tournament! Sign up slots are limited to 8 participants!

Join the Auchenai in one of their sermons, where they will demonstrate how the Draenei communicate and care for the dead.

21:30 MEMORIAL CRAFTING WORKSHOP

Join Wavespeaker Yanu in crafting traditional Draenei urns, used to house the ashes of the dead.

22:30 TISHAMAAT CEREMONY

The official Tishamaat ceremony is held. This part is open to Draenei only.

Other Alliance races are more than welcome to spectate!

Friday, May 9th 2025 - The Festival

Opening prayer, led by Anchorite Aporat, as well as a speech with some words on the previous night, and information on the evening’s activities.

20:15 TISHAMART 2, ELECTRIC BOOGALOO

The market once again opens for the public!

Join us to a time when the people of Azeroth were just taking their first steps, as we remember the fall of Argus and the Eredar civilization.

21:30 MENAGERIE

Come learn about the various animals that the Draenei have brought with them, from the tiniest of Marsuul to the largest of Elekk’s, all will be on display!

22:00 TO THE RACES - sign-ups open 3/10!

Racing enthusiasts will be able to take part in a race quite unlike any other, for they shall have to ride the stubborn Talbuks!

I may be interested in offering Enchantment and Disenchantment services in the market stall, potentially, if there’s a free slot. This also includes the sale of enchanted gems, scrolls, enchantment of items, weapons, armour, clothes, trinkets, disenchantment of items into their arcane components etc.

'Tis one of Azmira’s more well known trades outside of her other mage duties!

Last year’s Tishamaat was very atmospheric, and saw an impressive number of draenei gathered together. All the best wishes for this year’s event!

I shall try to attend on my Penitent Eredar Dark Shaman once again, if only to make sure my fellow Penitent behave!

Ofcourse, should my usual guard not have time to accompany me, I will inform you to try and arange a guard, or not attend at all!

I try to have a guard with me, as to not break the lore! And I was at the same time wondering, would this be something you guys could help Penitent Eredar RPers with? Or is it more of a “Fix it yourself” situation? Neither options is a bad option, eitherway!

While I encourage Penitent to bring their escorts with them, I also do understand the trouble it might be to actually do so.

So its not mandatory to show up with a Vindicator escort, there is reason to assume there are plenty of guards walking around the place to keep an eye on things.

Would be cool if you did manage to have an escort though!

We are a month away from the yearly Tishamaat and thus the sign-ups for the Jed’hin tournament and the Talbuk race have opened! The sign ups function on a first come first serve basis!

Please leave a reply on this thread if you wish to sign up for any of these activities!
