Silversong is a normal and Heroic raiding guild on the Alliance side of Ravencrest.
Some history about the guild:
The guild started up during BFA’s launch. At the beginning we struggled a lot as any new guild does trying to recruit. But as time went on we found more and more like minded individuals to get the guild in a solid state where we managed to meet our goals. We cleared Uldir on normal and heroic and Battle of Dazar’Alor on normal and heroic. From there there was a lot of burnout so we ended up taking an extended break. We came back for Shadowlands. Ended up clearing Castle Nathria on Normal and Heroic and Sanctum of Domination on Normal and Heroic. At this point the community as a whole was pretty fed up with WoW and we did not make a return for any more Shadowlands related content. Most of us have raided during Dragonflight but in separate guilds and have cleared the current content on Normal and Heroic.
Goals:
What we seek to accomplish is to have a relaxed attitude towards raiding and clear the content we wish to clear at a pace that fits our goals. Our goals are to clear Normal and Heroic raid content and acquiring the Ahead of the Curve achievement. Being a guild that only does normal/heroic says a few things. We’ll have players of very different skill levels. But that is more than okay and fine with us as mythic is not our goal. However, this does not mean we are not open to the idea of trying to do some bosses on mythic. If there is enough interest and the content we set out to do has been cleared, we can sit down and discuss the possibility of attempting a few bosses on mythic. But we won’t ever set that as an expectation or a goal. We wish to emphasize that we are NOT a mythic raiding guild! We’ve seen plenty of guilds that advertise themselves as mythic raiding guilds, setting the bar way too high and just fall short of expectations. If you’re the kind of person that seeks quick Normal/Heroic progress and then jump into mythic, then this is NOT the guild for you. We won’t have the clear speed of mythic raiding guilds.
What you can expect from us:
A non militaristic, “mature”, and relaxed guild with the ability to set expectations that are within reach and not overshoot and fall short of said expectation. We also won’t require you to read up on tactics before fights, however if you know you are the kind of person that needs that extra little help we strongly encourage you to read up on the fights before going into them but it will never be a requirement.
What we want from you:
We’re looking for players that have humor, can use their microphone to talk when needed and willing to kick gum and chew a** and of course raid. We want our players to not be afraid to make mistakes but we’re also expecting you to admit to any mistakes you made. Don’t be the individual that sits there after making a mistake and doesn’t take any responsibility for it. We’re also somewhat expect you to know what you’re doing on the class you bring to the raid.
Raid times:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 20:00-22:30 Server Time.
