You will never solve the M+ issue as you can’t do anything about its biggest problem… people.
People will always be a certain way so it will always be the way it is.

Yep, this community is rotten.
This seems like the season with the lowest M+ players ever so big changes or new systems should come already
Blizzard could probably do something to elevate these problems. Don’t know what the solutions could be though. Don’t even know if Blizz themselves know how to solve it.
But this community is so picky and whiney that any solution would just never be enough. It’s either everything or nothing. Too little or too much.
They can they just need to stop dreaming about m+ being a ESPORT
And stop giving raiders (which are fewer players) the priority on everything at every moment.
M+ on live is not an E-sport.
It is a community problem people think every class not in the top 1 M+ run on raiderio is crap and useless for their weekly +10 vault key.
100% correct.
But I have always wondered why during MDI and TGP events (that last a couple of months) there is ZERO tuning. Both class and dungeon.
Makes you wonder to be honest… what a strange coincidence to observe that for the past 4 expansions… for each season…
Like this season. Last tuning we got was before the MDI. And the most recent one was 2 weeks after the MDI. How… suspicious…
You can wonder but it really doesnt matter for 99,8% of the playerbase.
Well it does. IMO.
The dungeon tuning they recently did… too late… and not even close to what is needed…
Class tuning… too late…
The -15s death penalty… too late…
The changes to crests… too late…
Not to mention that there is a drop in participation of 95% in 12s. And the problems that poses…
In other words. 3 months ago we had way more participation across all levels. Those people stoped playing. So today, of those that are still playing its not a problem for the 99.8% of the playerbase. But 3 months ago it was for 20% (making up the number) of people that have since stoped playing.
I am not interested in MDI, but did it take 3 months? Then you might be on something.
It is not you are right …
but changes made to the game are literally made because of MDI…
Even the world first race is part of that problem.
They should not even look at those things when they are designing a game for a 99% players.
yet they do
cause they live in the dream from the past where m+ in legion became so popular that it made them think ESPORT is the way.
but they forgot what made legion m+ so popular
it was not difficulty at all…
Maybe 3 months is an exageration.

So from Sep 3 to Nov 24. Trials started Sep 3. But the actual event started the 1st of November.
Last major class tuning we got was Nov 27, and now for 11.0.7. Which is not “major”. And prior to that, the last class tuning update was October 30th.
And that was a minor tuning patch. The major ones with all the shaman reworks and stuff happened prior to September (in October).
What a coincidence… dont you think ?
In a way Mayor class changes every month sounds pretty decent to me. It is not why people runned away, or arent playing. M+ has currently way more fundamental problems, imo.
It is so funny to me how, even across games, people will complain endlessly about tank/healer shortages and never once ask themselves how that happened.
So much easier to just moan at the devs to “fix it” rather than to look into a mirror and admit they bullied people out of those roles by being toxic gamers.
I disagree with this statement. I have never, in 5 years i have been healing been “bullied”. I have been in general been pampered like a special snowflake…
Its just hard to tank/heal in some seasons. And in those seasons healers/tanks become rare.
You’re either really lucky or oblivious. It doesn’t happen all the time but I don’t there is anything I’ve not been blamed for as a healer.
Oh for sure.
But the times I DDd with alts I got the same amount of idiots complaining about stuff. Or in groups with DD buddies who they get complained.
So my conclusion is: nasty coments are rare. And independant of roll. There exists a minority of people out there that will complain about everything and everyone. Whatever you play. DD, healer, tank… whatever…
So I stick to my statement. If those things stop me from healing, they should also stop me from DDing. Or playing wow.
I’m not sure how you can come to that conclusion. You can’t compare data from Pre S4 DF because they had dungeons running from 1-20 that are now 1-10 essentially removing the 1-9 range. The only two data sets that can be compared are DF S4 and this season.
Now the problem on the whole with DF S4 is that it’s not a proper season. There is no data graph showing the +11 and onwards range from S1/2/3 compared to the new system.
This late in the season you’d expect there to be a drop off compared to the start as most will have done their gearing and will likely only fill vault or partially fill vault with runs. Many are on raid breaks at this point and don’t need the vault.
We used to have it much better pre-TWW, with the very same people.
