Hey so I’ve had a problem in lower to mid Kalimdor for I think since around the prepatch. Whenever I go to the bottom of Ashenvale I get disconnected and a streaming error. Whenever I go to the direction of feralas/silithus from dustwalllow Marsh I get discconnected and a streaming error. I am wondering if there is a way to fix this, because it’s getting in the way of me actually playing the game ALOT, please can someone help out with this. I’ve tried looking for ways to open tickets about this but none of the options give me the choice to.
Sounds like you’ve got a corrupt file for that area, and the game isn’t able to replace it with a working version on the fly. Using the Scan & Repair feature in the Blizzard Desktop App will go through your game install and take care of anything that’s not behaving properly.
I have tried that but at the end of it it just says “Whoops something broke” and forces me to update. I’ve tried uninstalling the game and reopening it but nothings worked

Could this be a more common problem maybe? Got it today 2 times in a row while logging in, never had it before. Just updated my UI tho, could also well likely be the cause of it
i have the same problem but in jade forest when i reached windward isle it was disconnected. and can’t come up after i pushed enter world bottom. this guide work ? i don’t wanna break any thing.

Hey. I’ve finally figured it out. Seems like some files were corrupted. I copied wow to another drive and for every file that couldn’t be copied I made a note, deleted those files from the original wow directory and then clicked repair. Works now. Hope this helps.
