1 random hc for bonus role where you wipe in shrine of the storm 3rd boss 2 times. Have to respec to dps to nuke him, but the failers vote kick you.
1 arena skirmish (win)
1 vale assault. 1hour: getting ganked at the vision thing, at the last boss, on the quest givers while the 3 alliance you see fly above you to complete quest. Warmode roflmao? More like questmobdontfightanyone
So how is this enjoyable? I’m thoroughly disappointed
Not my experience since I faction changed to alliance. I win more BGs than I lose, but I would agree the M+ side of things seems to be a bit slower / worse off when pugging. As for being ganked? War Mode is entirely optional, it’s a risk/reward system, if you don’t think the reward is worth the risk anymore, turn it off.
I have not logged in whole week as much (as I am playing fallout 76 after its update)… but let me see :
Mythic 3 hours, HC 1 and half hour, 2 M15s on ~30 minutes, decline 1 M15 on alt. Two visions (god-knows-how-many-but-too-many-minutes)
Tickle random people in boralus ~2 minutes.
Today is my 2nd mythic 3 hours.
I think it was quite fun.
So what can i suggest :
Get to better more alive alliance realm. I.e. Silvermoon, Outland. (or since you seem to be a roleplayer - consider also Argent Dawn)
Get friends or a guild.
Join community
For warmode, i thought paladins are OP… just last night a guildie explained how he, as holy paladin killed 3 hordelings and ended with full HP. Spec holy?
… yeah a dk with summer shorts, black eyes and flower crown tickling random people! Except paladins, those I never tickle. Its against my class fantasy as dk.
Why anyone would role dreanor as alliance is beyond belief .
Its always been a horde heavey server since classic and never been balanced its his own fault but he will blame blizzard .
Well on theory we do have CRZ and things and it shouldn’t matter, but surprisingly there’s still this contacts, and friend-of-afriend mentality that works in larger realms. In my realm is even a thing like ‘guild rep’, when people PUG and see ‘this guy is from that guild’ then its generally presumed to be decent choice. And works. A lot of people have moved between guilds and it has its benefits - also in M+ group ups and trough contacts like these you make more contacts and slowly build bit of a social network cross the realms just because you have solid foundation from own realm.
This cannot be done on smaller realms.
So people, who like to play/do party content as alliance should also put some effort into their game and not expect Blizzard to fix this overnight. Will not happen.
My guildies do pug a lot of M+ (and do a lot with guildies too!) and rarely i have seen a backlog complaining that they cannot find group. Only complaints are the classic “(lack of) quality in PUGs”, but that conversation would occur also in horde.
Considering what i thought of it on launch (if I repeat my opinion, I’d get longest forum ban you imagine) - just to give you some background where I am coming from, then I was highly suspicious. So suspicious that i told my friends off times a ton…
But Wastelanders really brings back that ‘classic old Bethesda Fallout’ as we know. It is not stellar writing or some sort of masterpiece, but it is classic (nothing more, nothing less - they dont surprise you)Bethesda game - minus mods *. I liked the tag along with a friend so much that, I cut off my wow sessions, replaced them with 76 and purchased my own sub for a month for my miniature solo-world.
So considering my hate and dislike for the 76 I had (my own words : “worst game of recent decade… scrap that - two decades”), then the work they have done with the game really make it quite enjoyable.
So yes, it is worth a shot. If you want to PvP - play it on console however (But BGS and PvP balance - it is a joke). PC and hacks…
Bethesda just don’t know how to handle that. But main campaigns are ok: game runs smooth, map is huge and humanoid NPCs really fix a lot of dread and repetitive feel in it. Instead of my old rating 1/10, I can give it solid 6.5/10 - it has its moments, many bugs fixed, runs well.
Long story in one line (or on and half?) : It is worth trying if you into Bethesda games. The map is big enough to keep you busy for a while.
** - PC gamers still mod it though. I use some mods too to high light objects etc.*
