Deadduchess:
Tanks don’t compete on details/recount of the dungeon, they compete for global scores.
Tanks are some of the most competitive bunch out there.
Not every1 cares about global scores.
They’re also meaningless, since your team compositions of actual players were different.
DPS competing in a certain dungeon all have the same tank and healer as teammates.
No, because that would increase the demand for tanks and healers, there’s currently a shortage of those.
It’s a game, you’re supposed to do something enjoyable.
If you don’t enjoy healing others, then don’t do it?
Why would adding 2 more dps to your team make your experience worse?
How is adding 2 dps a solution ? I’m very confused
Imagine the toxicity with two more dps

More responsibility
More idiots standing in the fire
More bodies to heal, harder to do when most aoe heals are capped at 5 man limits
More blame
More stress

It means more dps can join on a team to a given key.
Meaning less queue time since the demand for actual dps numbers go up by 40%.
Idk, i mostly pug and i very rarely see people acting with any toxicity.
Finnbarr:
More responsibility
The responsibility is shared between the whole team, it’s not just a tank/healer issue.
Do better picks?
You see up there where i said to re-balance? This is included.

More stress
Why are you complaining so much? It’s like you don’t actually like healing/tanking. lol

If it means less tanks and healers queuing because it’s more annoying that doesnt work very well
Why would it be more annoying?

Because more dps = more people that could mess things up (affixes , mechanics…)
No thanks, ill stick to 1/1/3. Less hassle to deal with, less coordination needed, less slackers, afkers, failers, ragequitters, leavers.
As dpsers, you already have it easy as you dont deal with the responsibilities of a tank or a healer, doing decent dps is 90% of your role, stress-free high reward, which is why you lot flock on the dps queue competing with each other.
Its your choice, you cant have it easy and accessible at the same time. Its basic economics of demand and supply.

It also means more people to cover for others failing.

It sounds like you don’t enjoy the tanking/healing roles.
But we can have the supply/demand change with this.
Do you feel that your existence is threatened?

what he said ^^
Idk why you’re so salty though…

Just what any self respecting tank wants, more bloody hunters in his team.
/s
Jokes aside, as mentioned before party wide damage would merk up the situations, trash pack and mobs will become spongy as well.
If you want to “fix the DPS queue” issue, without any pre organization, I would suggest for tanks to revert to pre Legion and stuff.
That’s where re-balancing comes in.
Idk what pre-legion tanks mean…
You could swap into more DPS oriented playstyle, while retaining tank qualities.
People say it wouldn’t put strain on healer, but it would. There’s unavoidable damage, and the healer would be responsible for 2 extra people’s health on such occasions. And lets face it, players don’t avoid 100% of all abilites that they should so it would in the end be more stress on the healer.
The game have way more DPS choices than healer choices on class, along with a lot of people aren’t comfortable being the sole person responsible for a major aspect of a dungeon. I don’t think it’s any quick fixes to the long queue time for DPSers.

Why though?
If ret could gain back righteous fury and have a dmg mitigation while using it without losing dps, i’d happily tank. Not going to happen though.

Though this is where re-balancing the mythic dungeons comes in… like i exemplified above.
Rayzens:
Instead of doing 35k dmg total over 10 seconds to 5 people, meaning unavoidable 700 dmg per second to each player.
Have the enemy do 35k dmg total over 10 seconds to 7 people, meaning unavoidable 500 dmg per second to each player.
@Finnbarr do tell
