We are a new 2 day a week raid guild based on Ravencrest - Alliance
After spending some time bouncing around guilds and trying to fit in with them, we found that we struggled due to either time constraints or with the seriously toxic environments ( If that’s your thing that’s great, you do you, it’s just not for us).
We like to have a laugh and enjoy our game time, but we also want to be able to clear content, and so Wrong Side of Heaven was born. The game has evolved to a point where it’s pretty much a requirement to do all the things in order to progress at a reasonable rate and so we thought that the ideal solution for us would be to have a guild that focuses on 2 day a week raiding, leaving the rest of the week to do things like M+.
Puglife is harsh in both a raid and a m+ environment and can be daunting for many people. This means many people are left never being able to do the content they want to do in game and they never get the opportunity to learn and become part of the community. We hope that with a guild focused on a nontoxic environment with the option to raid as well as do M+, people will be able to have fun and play the game without the stress of dealing with pugs.
What we’re looking for
If you’ve never raided or done much m+ before that’s perfectly fine, we all have to start somewhere. It’s a new expansion and it would be a great opportunity to learn together.
The raiding plan is to achieve curve and then, depending on how it goes, move to mythic at a natural pace on a 2 day a week schedule. We have had our days of hardcore raiding and while we still want to clear as much content as we can, we don’t want to do it at the expense of our sanity or free time. We are grownups with responsibilities like work and kids and free time is a precious commodity. In order not to waste that time we expect people to do their best, research the fights and their class and turn up prepared to raids on time and with consumables.
As for M+, it has become an essential part of the game. It’s a fun way to spend time in a smaller group and achieve something in a shorter amount of time. We hope to be able to welcome people of all experience levels from complete newbies who have never done M+ to key pushers.
While we are happy to take people who are inexperienced, I do want to clarify that we will not be carrying people. You should not expect people do boost your freshly levelled character through your weekly 15.
What we offer
We have had previous experience both separately and together running successful raid guilds and have raided at the top end of content from tbc up until legion. We took a bit of a step back in BFA and SL, still raiding but at a more casual pace. We miss the guild environment and would like to get that back.
We want to have a guild where people can have fun doing the things they like in the game. We won’t tolerate toxic behaviour though and if you are an attention seeking, childish type of person you simply won’t fit in with the guild.
Raid Schedule
Wednesday 20:30 -23:30 server time
Monday 20:30 – 23:30 server time
With limited raid time we want to make the most of it so invites will be at 20:20 so we can be ready to start pulling at 20:30. There will be a break mid-way through the raid of 10 minutes.
As the guild builds up, we will be looking at specific m+ nights to make sure everyone has a key done for the week who wants one.
