Whenever I get a proc in the game caused by an ability (eg.: hunter - precise shots proc after using aimed shot, or monk - stagger) it makes that typical, recognizable “proc sound”, but the problem is, it keeps repeating until the duration of that proc expires.
Also, the way that specific sound is repeated is totally random.
It supposed to make the proc sound once, when it’s triggered, but for the above mentioned “precise shots” proc, I get that sound repeated usually about 10 times.
This doesn’t happen with trinket activations/procs.
(This issue is on retail btw, no idea if that’s information is needed)
What I’ve tried:
-Repair/scan, resulted in a success message saying “no repair is required”
-Disabling ALL addons
-Resetting UI (based on advice here: “https://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/7549”)
-Different sound input devices
-Messing around with the sound options in-game
Nothing has actually solved this issue, and the lack of information on this is worrying for me, it is pretty annoying, just imagine listening to the constant repeated “proc sound” thorought a fight that lasts more than 5 minutes, normally you would hear that sound lets say a hundred times, but I have to listen to it at least a thousand times inside the same time interval.
