About city guards

Honestly, has anyone or even Blizzard addressed the city guards?
I came to retail (from previous WoW expansions) expecting FUN World PvP, but one thing I just hate is the fact that city guards’s endless spawn is so lame, boring and unneccessary.
Not to mention the fact that they can shoot through walls and tell everyone what’s happening.
Like, if I kill an NPC or a player, is the world really going to end? They can turn WM off and not bother.
I think WM can be fun, but the fact that World PvP has become fabricated is just stupid. Yeah, stupid.
The pvp system should remain the same regardless of expansions…
Let me attack and kill any NPC I want in Stormwind.
If some alliance kills my mining trainer I will either kick his @ss or, I don’t know, use the other 3000 mining trainers that exist across cities and bases? Seriously, do casuals and PvE players REALLY have to destroy everything?
Just had to take ressurrection sickness because of this bullsh1t.

I’m sorry but are you complaining that main cities have defenses …?

Most games just turn off pvp completely in major cities

NPC guards should be removed in WM, all defence in WPvP should be player defence PvP.

If WoW was like the “other games” it would have died a long time ago.

Endless guard spawn has existed since pre-TBC patch. That being said, I’d very much like to see limited guard spawn (no respawn basically) in WM. If you kill a guard, the guard is dead for the next # of minutes, until it respawns. Meaning city attacks require more effort in terms of defence.

Hmm, an ai bot guard could be interesting.
