About deciding go or stay

Hello there,

I want to play “m +” in the new expansion and I don’t know how far I can go with shadow priest on this, I haven’t got an idea yet, so I want to get your ideas from you. If you were going to play “m +”, would you stay as a shadow priest or would you switch to another character? I cannot say that I want to play meta characters exactly.

but I want to play ranged dps in dungeons that can deal high damage both on single target and multi target scenarios. As a result of my research in this direction, I have not made a decision yet.(I’m open to suggestions).

tldr; (what i mean) While I was struggling with the keyboard there, even if the demon hunter sits on the keyboard, he/she can do more damage than me, is it possible to eliminate the difference? I don’t know if there is a ranged dps that does more damage than demon hunter, but I want to minimize the damage difference, and this is not possible as a shadow priest.

Shadow does a lot of damage in m+ with gear right now, if everyone is wearing the absolute best items they can have access to in 8.3, shadow’s one of the higher damage dealers. It’s problem in M+ right now is survivability and utility.

However, being frank, you are so far behind on that character I do not see you ever reaching the point priest is competitive before the end of the expansion, so let’s focus on Shadowlands.

We don’t know much about Shadowlands, but shadow doesn’t look too hot for it from what we’ve seen / been able to play with. I can tell you some shadow priests will do well in mythic plus, but it’s unlikely to be a strong choice.
