About End Time dungeon

So today I revisited End Time dungeon with timewalking and when I noticed the terrain and the whole theme in Tyrande’s shrine, u know trees were looking like trees from Darkshore and Tyrande bathing in dark moonlight, it struck me. I think this timewalking dungeon is like a prophecy of sorts, and while the description says that it’s a possible future should Deathwing not be stopped, I think it’s missleading.
Taking into account the above, and the rest of shrines: the crater in Jaina’s shrine (Theramore crater after Garrosh bombing), the scourge minions of Sylvanas, and the big tree there (reminds me of battle of darkshore and the burning of Tedrassil) the one that is yet to happen is Baine’s shrine.
I think the crazed Nozdormu wanted to protect us from the Void Lords, not Deathwing or N’zoth. What do u guys think?

Not a bad interpretation of it. I’d enjoy the twist.

Deathwing and N’Zoth were agents of the Void Lords. Had they succeeded, the entire world would have turned into a Void Titan like the Void Lords wanted. The pecking order goes like this:

Void Lords > Old Gods > Deathwing

So protecting us from Deathwing and N’Zoth… means protecting us from the Void Lords.

Also I doubt the aesthetics of the dungeon mean anything deep. Blizzard just went with what fit the most based on the encounter in question. The only one that could be seen as foreshadowing is Jaina’s arena, which foreshadows Theramore turning into a crater in MoP because a certain psycho warchief decided to nuke it.

The rest would just be coincidence. Though Blizzard already plans multiple expansions ahead of time, I doubt they already knew certain specific plot points like Sylvanas being the one to burn Teldrassil or Tyrande fighting to reclaim Darkshore. Especially since End Times was designed like 7 years before they announced BfA.

Maybe I see patterns. But as u said the crater of Jaina might be foreshadowing, why would the rest be any different? Plus Ny’alotha and the events of N’zoth awakening and stuff were first mentioned in puzzle box of Yog-Sarron that was archaeology item from Wrath of Lich King. So I think that indeed Blizzard plan overhead. Thank you for ur input though

In that Dungeon, Tyrande loves Elune. She still have a faith. Also she is not an Night Warrior there.
While in current times she is Night Warrior, that seeks the answer why Elune have abandon her people.

Also Blizzard told in interview that they were planning Maiev on the Night Warrior role at the first plans. But Maiev had a big role in Legion, and that is the only thing why Tyrande became the Night Warrior instead.

Because, as I said, they probably did not have BfA planned out back then, or anyway maybe they only came up with the most basic plot points like “Teldrassil is burned”. Stuff like Sylvanas actually doing it or Tyrande becoming the Night Warrior and fighting to reclaim Darkshore are too specific, and plus the writing team changed a lot between Cataclysm and BfA. Those things are not comparable with the fall of Theramore, I mean that literally happened in the following expansion.

As for N’Zoth and Ny’alotha, no actually, you can see that they changed their mind at one point. The puzzle box mentioned Ny’alotha being an underwater city ala Nazjatar, when very clearly it was not.

We’re getting shorts? Cool!

Nice theory but you are giving the writers way too much credit to think that much in advance.

Isn’t Night Warrior the Vengeance of Elune? I think that ancient spell was forbidden, ok, but it was Elune’s. Tyrande is still in the service of Elune. Dunno if it has something to do, but the Moon eclipsed and stays that way in Darkshore. So maybe Elune is a world soul in the moon of Azeroth.

100% no. Because its already known that the first Night Warrior was not from our world.
In other words - in other worlds, others also got Eluns blessing. So Elune is not on Azeroths moon.

this could actulay indicate, Elune is Azeroth, what also would explain why she didnt help, when sylvanas attacked darkshore, and that so many night elfs feels she abonded them, reason was she was wounded and could not help anyone, becuse she was close to dying her self.
