Please do not ever create a rare that is this obnoxious to farm! First you wait forever for it to spawn, then it spawns on three different locations. You don’t even get to it before some group do kill it.
Fix:
Shorter spawn timer (better with lower droprate and it spawns every 30 min, one try/day)
Mark it better on the screen, it is hard to find the fallen charger when it is up.

I did have terrible wrong about strat, DO NOT ever camp this mount in group!! Just stand in the middle of the maw and look for groups in the LFG-tool! Killed it 3 times in 1 hour instead of once every 8h, just remember it is one kill per day and character, so farm it with alt if you have any! That means you have many chances to get the mount in the same amount of time as you would wait for the spawn on one shard!
I disagree. Everything regarding this rare is 100% fine, you just want stuff handed to you, nothing else. If it was a Soundless complain thread, meaning it spawns every 8 hours and has a 0,5% drop chance, I would back you up, but this is pure crying and nothing else.
First of all, when he either spawns or dies, you will see it in chat.
Second of all, there are literally hundreds of groups up for it. I see them even now, let alone when the patch came by.
Third of all, it has a huge drop chance. 15% for such a mount, is incredibly high.
I feel your pain, but luck is luck.
I want my green dragon, but the Blazing drake eludes me. Yet I think it is fine this way, at least I have a chance to get it. Not like the mounts that got deleted from the game. Shame on you Blizz/Microsoft
When I killed it, rarity said 1 in 6. Wowhead says 10%, still who cares, 9% is a huge drop chance.
Tell that to my career, my girlfriend, my apartment, my social life, and the fact I got over 600 unique mounts and I’m not complaining here like a little girl. The time you spent whining here and crying, responding to my answer, you could be in the maw, looking for a group in a custom group finder.
Go get it now, and stop crying! It’s one of the easier mounts to obtain in 9.1, and in general.
When you will try Aeonaxx, TLPD, Soundless, Rustfeather, Voidtalon, Camel and others, then come here and cry how bad it is.
Yes it is simple enough to kill the fallen charger, but come on a timer that are so long is not even fun. Not even you can think that is good gaming experience to sit in the maw for ages!
Its nothing compaered to other mounts spawn times and drop chance. Just watch for groups up and even if it spawns in 3 places the maw is small and quick to get around.
Why are you countering the timer by yourself? As said in the first post, there are so many groups up, that have it up. It’s not meant to be farmed / waited for solo. Join people, talk to them, interact. It’s WORLD of Warcraft, not YOUR ROOM of Warcraft for a reason.

The paths are also known, and you can counter them easily. The rare also has alot of hp and is quite fast, so it won’t get burned down in a matter of seconds (Huolon, world bosses, Zandalari Warbringers, Tanaan rares and so on).

Like me… i was sitting in front of the exit to Venari’s place and was looking at the map thinking about Fallen Charger.
Guess what spawned on top of me to attack me. :))
I made a raid while under its heavy hits!.. well semi-heavy, had to heal myself pretty often cause i was much lower ilvl than now.
And after it’s death, from the 40 ppl in the raid, i was the only one who was chosen to be its rider!
Rofl, exactly same thing happened to me. I even have a screenshot. And it was the day 1 of 9.1. being released!
Started attacking me, notified the /1, made a grp, in about 20 seconds, I think I had more than 150 sign ups. Probably 5 times that during the course of me inviting the other 39 players. I remember I had more than 50 whispers ‘inv me inv me’, 10 of them calling me an as***** that I didn’t invite them, and at the end, I was the only one that got it.
