Hello, how is it possible for a character boost of level 60, to receive items of item level 148 (20K HP) in the condition that mobs from zereth mortis give 2.3 k hit? I took the 2nd quest from zereth mortis where i have to kill a 83k elite which do 2/3K per second.
I died 20 times trying to do a level 60 quest, do I have to pay gold to buy items from the auction house to do the quests or ?
How can you pay for a service that is not thought of?
I bought the package just for character boost.
After checking a couple wowhead comments, it’s indeed itemlevel 148 gear which amounts to entry level 60 Shadowlands gear.
Meaning, there’s nothing wrong here.
If you’d like to see future boosts changed you can always submit suggestions through the ingame button. But since every boost has level appropriate gear and this boost hasn’t been changed since the start I don’t think they’ll change near the end either since we’re heading into Dragonflight soon.
I don’t think it’s fair at all to have a beginning where you have to play 2 hours to do a quest because you can’t afford to kill some mobs with this items , it’s really sucks
148 sounds about right to me for entry gear into Shadowlands. Zereth isn’t meant to be entry content, it’s the last content in the expansion.
If you level a character to 50 and then enter Shadowlands, you don’t even have ilvl 100 gear but by the time your 60 from doing quests you pretty much have 148 gear. So again sound about right.
Just so you know (as i didn’t know until i found by accident). If you have a level 60 already that’s done Zereth there is a vendor you can buy level 200+ greens (i think 238) from. You buy it with Anima and i think it’s something like just under 600 per piece. It’s account bound so you can send it to other characters. The vendor is in Haven just by the repairs NPC.
The boost aren’t designed for you to go head to head with the best mobs in the game, they are just enough to start Dragonflight, you can’t compete with a 60 in full raid gear.
