coming from person who has 48 level of heart of azeroth even Im not that high, and wont be for next 2 weeks and most of my guild is below that too
as I already told you, and you may’ve forgotten. Im already getting more rewards than 97% of playerbase like gucci mounts and what not.
makes pretty good sense for blizzard considering they’re multi-(b)/(m)illionaire company
I got that just by doing azerite world quests and handing in paragon rep. Guess you don’t have time to do that sort of thing while wiping and failing to do what Method did with 15ilevs of gear less than you have.
It makes absolutely no sense. If anything BFA has little to it outside of dungeons or raids. And giving all the extra stuff to the likes of you that you are looking for will kill the game entirely.
If anything they need to forget about dedicating vast resources to developing highly tuned difficulties and divert them to making content for the other 99% of the payer base.
There are more players in Method than spots in 99.9999 percentile. If you look at numbers on rio website aprox 2% of players having any score are at keystone master or higher level, roughly 10% at keystone conqueror or higher. Share of players with completed +10s is higher than that because of people avoiding hard dungeons and thus having way below 1k score. So surely keystones with reaping affix are not for all, but not out of reach either.
well problem is whit raider io, gearscore, item level and achivments is that someone new or someone who is starting to become good, will never get a chance to become good or even get their score up due to not already having big scores on raider io or whatever other stopid way there is to messure others epeen, the op even said it him self.
he rather take a low ilvl person whit a good score than someone higher ilvl due to it, where the one whit higher ilvl has put more effort in his char to get there, where the low ilvl alt dude just leeches off his mains io score, becuse there is no way a ilvl 350 person can have an io score at 1.5k it i just aint possible.
anyone who can not se a problem here has to be blind.
I’d totally agree with you on that. The comment I was making to him was he was suggesting five manning a +10 with 350ilev gear. Now that would be a challenge even for skilled players.
Well, to be honest there is one thing I see never mentioned in those discussions and that is that not all groups are like this. I have done my fair share of M+ in the PUG world (both in Legion and in BfA) and like most people I worked my score up without a team which means that people took a chance by taking me with them even though my experience seemed to be slightly below what they were doing. I even started late into the expansion in S1 which meant that I had to work the score up level by level because most people were ahead of me in both experience and equipment (even though it might be a little bit easier for healers?).
From my experience there are a lot of groups who simply do not care as much (this might differ if you play on Horde side) as a lot of players make it out to be in these threads. I can understand that especially DPS players are frustrated if they have to PUG because the competition for the spots are very strong and I understand that the score does not make it easier. However, from my PoV the score is something that can be slowly improved even though one might not be as lucky with gear or restricted by certain elements. This is actually a chance (for people like me) to slowly getting into better and better groups.
This takes some time obviously. Depending on the background of the player this might take weeks to accomplish but it is way better than being judged by achievements and equipment (which is what happens if some sort of score is not present). The score and especially the visibility of the highest completed level for a specific dungeon allows this.
The same is for me btw. and a lot of friends that I see. We simply do not look that strictly on the score but look whether the player has done anything roughly in that area or has a key for that dungeon which is anywhere near what we want to do and the lower the key the more random our selection is. So if we play a +10 for example we simply take the next best player with us that we want (usually we look for a tank or a range DPS).
And from my experience at least some groups do the same.
