Every time I read new post about raider io it makes me sick. People crying how bad it is, that they can’t get to the group etc. Yesterday I started gearing new character, first doing m0 than going for some 5-10 keys. And If I have to choose between 350ilvl with 1.5k rio and 390+ilvl guy with 0 score I prefer guy with lower ilvl. They won’t be able to give me item but they also won’t pull half of a dungeon, they will know basic mechanics and tactics while ppl with no score mostly don’t. Also they will do more damage then people with 390ilvl aka no score because they will know when to use cd’s and are just better players. For me all people who are crying about rio are just guys who has high ilvl but completly no skill. With current gearing system u can have like 415ilvl while doing world quest and weekly 10+ key and it’s pathetic. How people who are just casuals, have no idea about the game can have almost similar ilvl if lucky with players who play mythic raids??? I geared up my alt from 280 to like 390 in 6hours of playing the game without any help of my friends because they all stopped playing the game… So guys maybe it’s time to stop whining, learn some basic mechanics on dungeons, beacuse for me people who have like 395+ gear do less dps then 350ilvl tank/dps, and get lost in the dungeon have no right to whine about getting declined. Most of people value time, they want to do the dungeon fast and clean not wipe on some trivial mechanics because somebody forgot to turn up their monitor. And I bet there are many people who think similar. For me rio is a very helpfull tool and forming a group to push some higher keys would be a pain in the as s. I would have to go on blizz website and manually search every guy who ques into the dungeon because even if they had really high ilvl it wouldn’t matter at all.You can have like 5 ppl with 350ilvl and do +10 in time while some people can’t do +10 with 410ilvl but they don’t see problem with their playstyle. They think it’s because that bad addon that prevents good players to join their keys and boost their character. So thank you guys who made raider io addon you guys rock and keep doing your job.
I wish blizzard would perma ban anyone posting RIO threads every single weekend since it came out in legion its a piss take.

this isn’t completely fair, some of the players are new to the game and without previous season won’t have access to Rio benefits.
same goes to alts without payed Rio sub and below 200 score on alts.
the just issue I feel is with rising your first Rio to 1k, cause you have to grind in a very dangerous waters.
overall I think Rio brings social justice for all, everyone receives what he/she/assault helicopter deserves.
btw, if B wasn’t that busy sorting out azerite fiasco and instead prepared sets of in game challenges to learn mechanics and get a badge and an option to display your dps score on target dummy… and that info given it proper place with your group application in game.
We would have all corners sorted even for new guys.

its the opposite, first 1k is reaaaaally easy. simply because dungeons are reaaaaally easy and its really hard to fail them if you’re semi decent.

there’s no need for this. we dont need handicaps. game’s really simple right now, most things are simple. all it takes is - learning how your rotations/spells work, using your kit properly, and learning what enemy abilities do.
then learning what stats you need to maximize your damage. etc.
game’s really simple rn, unless you’re going for top 100 or w/e.
i swear i have started to think about doing a video lately about wit all those high r io guys in my groups (got alts to gear and play so i do 10-12) and doing the most randomn stuff. the most hilarious part is whenever you deviate from what they’re used to, but do something perfectly okay: oh boy, once those guys can’t apply what they learn by heart any longer, u can witness the reaction time of a goldfish.
r io is good overall, but i have seen terrible players with what people would consider a group score, at the end of the day pugging is pugging, and some people got their score in groups like guilds or friends with voice, and once they’re thrown out there they have no vision of their surrounding and no consciousness of others cds etc… r io is a bandaid to the fundamental problem that cross realm lfg is

You probably don’t understand how distant you are from the majority of this community. What is a % of players who actively go beyond +10?
I really don’t know how bringing your 3 man’s +10 is relatable to new players struggle here. My concerns is for them, not the tiny % of achievers.
The 2k+ Rio club won’t be impressed by you as I recall a 110 warrior from your +15 thread and the majority will find this unrelatable to their day to day issues with getting their +2 - +10 in time.
He is just flexing his epeen and spouting elitest rubbish. He knows full well that that type of play is confined to a very tiny percentage of the player base. Right now my RIO is only 1136 yet that puts me 185,000 in the world. Now if you take a rough figure of say 3m players the that is the top 6%. Once you move up to far higher keys than I’m doing it gets far lower.
His 1836 RIO places him just above 21,000 or in the top 0.7% in the world (assuming only 3m players). So yeah, you’er right and he is totally up there in an ivory tower when it come to the average player just wanting their +10 in time.

No I won’t. You are on demanding that blizzard start catering to no-life mythic raiders again and to hell with everyone else.
That just won’t cut it with the player base.
And like it or not but even if you consider yourself “bad at the game” you are still as per your RIO score representing the top 0.7% of players.
Now you are probably rubbish compared to Method or Limit players (maybe not if you are carrying people in a bad guild?) but it should give you some indication as to how insignificant your section of the player base is when it comes to the financials of this game. 99% of players are behind you in progression. Now go chew on that before you say again that it makes financial sense to give you more rewards ahead of 99% of subscribers.
