About rating inflation, and the current situation in 3v3 ladder

After 10 weeks, they introduced a miserable rating inflation system of 20 ratings per week, it is not known how long the season will last idle but definitely not for long, even if 10 weeks, multiply 10 weeks by 20 ratings, we get 200 MMR to your current MMR. And this is under the best of circumstances, that you will never lose. And now try to assemble a 3v3 team with a rating of 2k when only 1-4 teams are trying to find teammates in LFG during the prime time of the weekend.

And now add to that 2k, inflation of 200 mmr over the next 10 weeks, you still don’t get a gladiator.

Blizzard, you better think about how to lure players into the ladder, it’s just a disgrace, your game is dying before your eyes, for the first season such an empty ladder in a 3v3 rating is just awful. I’m even afraid to imagine what will happen in the next seasons, because most people who return to the new expansion drop again after the first season. For the sake of interest, I found screenshots of the games (enemy nicknames) against which I played in BFA, and noticed an interesting trend. Most of these players played in Shadowlands season 1, then drop and returned to Dragonflight season 1 - the same thing will happen next.

Today I spent more than 10 hours looking for teammates to play 3v3, I didn’t get applications from players, I couldn’t assemble a team, of course I would like to assemble some kind of actual setup(I don’t even dream about it, this story is long over when you could put together in lfg the setup you wanted to play), but I’m sorry, I couldn’t even find any two people in order to just play.

Do you remember the times when in seasons 1 and 2 of the SL, you opened the LFG and could not finish scrolling down, there were really more than a hundred teams per minute, and this was when there was no cross-faction LFG yet.

Once again, we saw how the company itself is killing its own game.

so answer me the question, your rating inflation which gives me 20 ratings per week, what does it give me? I can’t even play your game.

This is simply ridiculous, because they even write in their defense that they are trying to avoid high ratings, which is why the rating inflation system is introduced so late and with such a low growth rate. Wake up, I can’t stand in Q to play, what are you afraid of, why is it so difficult for you to try to play your own game so that later you don’t look so ridiculous In his address to the community.

Blizz need to do something with those guys who get 3000, take spot then never play again… Also when you see guy with 100 games played entire season sits that high it also smells fishy, like booster or wintrading product…

Maybe ratting deflation on inactivity woud be good stuff.

Rating decay like in league.

Problem is not mmr but the lack of players. After facing R1 people on low rating most people get discouraged immidiately. Why even bother with glad mount if you can’t get it? You can get everything else in shuffle, which is why everyone goes to shuffle. Just glad mount isn’t enough anymore for people to start playing 3s. Big mistake from blizz to put same rewards for shuffle as for 2s and 3s.
Elite set shouldn’t have been a shuffle thing. They should have added some recolor of the uglier honor set instead. Unless they decided to intentionally kill 2s and 3s, since most people folow path of least effort, which shuffle is, and after they get everything thrown at them they stop playing.

And the way mmr works means that it requires a large playerbase to eat rating from. It’s like a pyramid system, to keep people up high you need big strong foundation of casuals that won’t go for glad but are happy with just elite set. Now they get it in shuffle and dont even bother. So your pyramid crumbles.
