About red elves and elven party expansion which looms after tww

To be honest about alliance should have some “evil” is subjective, at least imo, I personally don’t wanna see anything evil in my faction, so Garithos story was literal setup by blizz to make elves horde or anything else so they would not be part of alliance. And I really hate that blizzard decided to put this taint of “evil” in the alliance especially relating to elves. My view of alliance was always as the faction which tries to be as humane, friendly to everyone who doesn’t attack straight away and overall has high morals. But seems to be blizzard also doesn’t like white/black writing.

And I could accept it if they made the “villain” story related to other stuff, like maybe even something where they treated their own worgen not so good or something simple like declaring war on barrens (even though they later did), but they just decided to put “evil” part of the alliance on relations with elves, and in many fantasies elves considered to be part of union for all good and such, but here they decided to change it drastically, and some people liked this brave approach, some others maybe not so much.

And that was my main point relating to the story, but once again it is blizzard’s decision and we can only give feedback at most. And also I made joke answer about delete whole of the alliance because really, blue faction just presented as very weak faction at this point both from writing perspective and how community perceives the faction. Like horde almost always were looked like something incredibly cool, they got a lot of conquest and new territorial gains which were noticeable in the game. Meanwhile alliance? Won bfa? what, and not maybe everyone would know about that, because that “victory” was hollow and there was not much significance in the actual game about it.

Now that’s just mean, Draenei add that much-needed touch of “not just a squat/fat/knife-eared human” to the Alliance.

The alliance has no need for icky tendrils whatsoever.

Credible source?

All we actually know is that Silvermoon and teh Sunwell will be part of the story. Guess what, they were part of the story in TBC, and that expansion didn´t revolve around Blood elves, either.

As you said, you are guessing, and doing some prelimilary rage-venting based entirely on pure (though not wholly unrealistic) speculation.

But at the end of the day, WoW adheres to the same rule all games so: if you don’t like it, then don´t play it.

As far as more or less elves goes, it absolutely doesn´t matter the least little bit anymore what races they add /promote, somebody is always going to get their panties in a bunch… Earthen? Cool + “Bah, just more dwarves!”… Dracthyr? Cool + “Bah, worthless soyboy dragons”… Harronir? Cool + “Bah, pointless earth-trolls nobody asked for!”

THe only proper way to answer that is “Bah, screw all of you and your opinionated BS, we´re making the game we consider fun. If you don´t like it, then don´t play it”… but then marketing would have a complete meltdown

And so it was that the Draenei and Void Elf cartels came for Tah in the dead of night.

I would argue that unlike in TBC where we got the brand new continent called Outland which was Draenor at some time before apokalypse, where was really a lot of different stories and cultures mixed together (at least there were Draenei vs Elves stories), here it seems the main part of the expac will revolve on lands called Quel’thalas, and by the sound of it you kinda can feel what this would be about. Maybe I am wrong, and actually expansion content will span for a whole northern part of EK continent starting from Arathi Highlands and ending with Quel Danas isle on the very north where actuall sun well is located. Maybe at the end of the day it will be just TBC 2.0 with sunwell 2.0 as a final raid, where instead of fighting fel lords we will fight dimensius or something like that

Second it, I really like Draenei as a nation and that they are friends with the alliance, I really dunno why such hatred, Tah? Draenei maybe were even nice counterweight to the elves for the alliance at least. And as a culture they seem to be most kind of all nations in the alliance and helpful. I don’t mind the initial retcon before tbc tbh about draenei, I would look on it maybe like something that in wc1/2 (wherever eredar were part of the story) we did not know about Velen and some other former eredar who did not join the legion, unless there were clear hints in wc2 about opposite

Lack of paragraphs made my eyes bleeds after 4 line’s

And Tah’s awesome pets dealt with every single one of them. And all was good in the world… Of Warcraft.
