About Sha etc mounts

As the drop-rate for mounts has increased. Alot of ppl at the Sha etc etc…
The problem is that they die to quick…alot of lag as it spawns. Lag=cant tag …
Sure…“rich” ppl with good setup/computer can manage.
BUT…FFs Blizz…
Make a “tag” window for 10-15sec (no dmg on Boss/Rare) so all ppl have time to tag ?
Just a thought…

For starters would be fun if they reduce the spawn CD for each one of them to like 5 minutes. I think that would solve most problems.
10 sec immunity could also work no harm in that.

yea. Thx m8…And yea 15min is rather “long”. But yea, I understand Blizz in some degree. But 15min is somewhat understandable…
But yea…They need about 15sec immune…so ppl get a chance to tag. 15min respawn is not much of an issue tbh.
Blizz just need to make bigger window for tag

They should just increase the HP and Abilities of all World Bosses to Max Level

Much better solution.
A world boss should never just die in 2 seconds, that is pathetic.

They should always be menacing at max level and take time to kill.

You can do this with your friends or players you know:
#1: Have your friend create a mage trial character on a low pop realm like a French/Spanish one
#2: Have him move to the Sha location
#3: Have him make a group in dungeon finder
#4: Join the group

I used to do this with a second account to easily farm Pandaria tokens by killing the random rares on a bunch of realms.

Make a macro to target Sha of Anger combined with an instant damaging ability. Bind macro to mouse wheel and just keep using mouse wheel when you see the big black sploosh before he respawns.

Just a little tip to help you

They did implement a window with like 99% dmg reduction, but again our characters have become too powerful so even at 1% dmg done, the HP ticks away in a couple of seconds when everyone nuke the bosses.

A 10 second invulnerable-but-taggable-bubble would be really helpful.

Yea. Sure make a macro etc…But should`nt be a “thing”…
Blizz just need to make a 10-15sec window.
Did Rukhmar for 2nd time…
Spawn…Lag…2sec…Dead…No loot
It´s a problem.

Rukhmar takes 5 seconds plus it die. It flys to the bottom before dying regardless of damage.

As for the others join a group let someone else tag it for you.

They already have a tag period, it’s not very long sure; I suppose they could make it a little longer. No harm there.

I am curious why you are against World Bosses taking 60-120 seconds to kill

Currently, World Bosses are just trash gameplay =
“20 people just stand and wait 15 mins for the respawn;
hit a boss once - and see if they got the mount”

Scaling World Bosses so they are actually a cool fight again, would literally not impact you at all and would only be a positive change.

Currently you have about 2.4 seconds to tag a world boss before it dies
Which is just beyond ridiculous.

That’s not what I’m against.
I’m against: ‘increase the HP and Abilities of all World Bosses to Max Level’ and 'always be menacing at max level ’ because that would make them no longer soloable. THAT is what I’m against.

It WOULD impact me and for me it’s a negative change.
So I’m against it.

It wouldn’t impact you because you are Level 60

And you would be surrounded by 20 other Level 60s trying to get the mount

The boss would still die

But it would at least stay alive for one minute

You still haven’t made a good argument as to why the current lame gameplay should remain

For now. Because there’s a bit of hype because of the droprate.
That will pass. Then people are standing there alone again. Unable to kill the boss.

An ‘unkillable’ timer for 15-25 secs is more than enough to give people time.

You have a fair point that they wouldn’t be soloable, but a World Boss never should be

But that wouldn’t really be a consideration for now, because every World Boss is camped by 20-30 people on every respawn for the mounts etc

Your unkillable timer or slight delay is a decent solution as well I guess

Nothing more frustrating than flying towards Sha of Anger
and then seeing him die infront of you before you can tag it…

Sure it’s a bummer, but it’s not that bad. 15 mins isn’t the end of the world. :blush:
I have various alts parked at the boss spot. So I’ll never be travelling there, except with my main. :wink:

I’m just hoping that mount will drop sooner rather than later, so I won’t have to bother anymore.

Back then, you would require some friends to do old raids, before their system to multiply your damage by 1000 when its considered as legacy raid.(more than 1 expansion difference)
basically, before this system, you would still have to “PLAY” to kill bosses.
Now, its just One shot every thing and run like a chicken.
People seem to enjoy this s**, and so they probably enjoy one shotting Nalak as well. If thats too hard, just ask to receive every week a lootbox in your mailbox.

It’s insane how fast they drop dead and how easy it is to miss tagging.

Perhaps they need to rethink the very concept of tagging.
It is one of the most outdated mechanics in the game

All of the pandaria or draenor world bosses are trash mobs compared to the player from a power level PoV currently.

Also they are all outdated content so it makes no sense for them to require a full fledged raid.
