There was guild called Paragon, that was always nr1. Real skilled players.
If mythic mode was exclusively without addons - these guilds would not do a sht.

The top guilds would be top with or without addons.
It’s called a raid leader. They’ve been a thing for a very, very long time. Just about since the first raid.
A raid team without a raid leader is called a pug, and would never come close to killing a mythic end boss while it’s relevant.

I was in that guild in tbc+wotlk. We were good (for that timeline players) but dont remember being r1.

And the people who knew this was going on and continued to play with him until it blew up publicly? That’s basically defending him (by doing nothing) until it no longer became beneficial for them to do so.
If I knew that stuff was going on I certainly wouldn’t hide it and continue playing with them until it become inconvenient to do so.
