About so called "world first race"

The whole WF race is mildly entertaining.

The real entertainment comes from people like the OP totally losing their :poop: over it.

I am not going to tell you details, but one of them. They are not supposed to get help for RWF, DO YOURSELF instead of crying for loots like tiers. You get 5 millions if you trade tier to them?!?!?!?!? Split runs?!??!?! Play your main!!! What kind of joke is it? It is not part of RWF so WHAT? I dont care if you dont agree, it is just fact and the truth!

Race would be fair with fair rules for everyone. Not these first guilds getting funds and exploiting whatever they can do get “world first kill”.

While I agree that they should do the race on their own merit, getting gear help from split runs is not cheating.

And this was already said to be false.

N’Zoth for instance was manually despawned during the WFR because he would have otherwise died due to an bug/exploit.

You know when it would be most entertaining? When it goes into mythic week three with double legendaries. Liquid kills the Jailer 4 hours into the week, then Echo kills it a day later, but 3 hours into the week, and then Aster kills it another day later, 2 hours into the week.

Now that would be a lot of popcorn to consume.

That’s not cheating. That’s making sure you have the best gear possible. If loot trading wasn’t so obnoxiously limited, they would need a billion helpers, and they’d be doing a lot less splits too, and wouldn’t need 4+ mirror mains either.

Blame those things on Blizz, not on the raiders who just work around useless limitations of the loot system.

That is only happening cause blizzard loot design is disaster like this expansion

And they’re either not playing, or not the best anymore. Your point??

No one would do anything without addons as long as Blizzard develops raid fights with addons in mind.

So does every other player in the game before Blizzard states that they can get banned for it. No need to be a hypocrite about it.

Truly horrible.

The only people who had anything to do with it were Sco, one of their managers who knew about that there is an ongoing investigation against him, and Sco’s ex girlfriend, Djarii, who was contacted by multiple girls in twitter dms, yet kept the whole thing under the rug for the sake of the RWF. They left these people behind and no one in Echo has anything to do with it.

They all knew about it. Anybody that said he never heard anything over a several year long period of the topic actually being present is flat out lying or deaf and blind on the most hardcore level imaginable.

And that scripe himself deserves a permanent bann just on the sides.

How are split runs cheating? How does it invalidate their skill in any way? Do you seriously believe that they wouldn’t be at the top if they didn’t do this?

What I could agree on is that if the gear was normalized, it would be more exciting and more guilds would have the means to perhaps compete, but it wouldn’t really tip the scales.

If you consider that even while “cheating” their gear and playing at highest level mechanically, the bosses are still just barely killable with that gear. If they didn’t have to do it, they wouldn’t. If they had the chance to go to a tournament realm for a race with normalized gear and global release, they would, and they’d still be top guild, because the main reason they are at the top because they are really good players, not because they have really good gear.

If they were winning because of cheating, those same players wouldn’t be regularly in the top spots in the MDI and top M+ scores every season.

No one in Echo ever stated that they didn’t hear about it at all, so idk what’s the point of bringing that up. Knowing about allegations and the ongoing investigation is “slightly” different than being an eyewitness and not telling anyone. The higher ups should’ve known better after they were contacted by multiple women and they should’ve removed him from the raid roster until the investigation is over, but blaming it on every single raider is ridiculous. Obviously people going to believe their friend they have known for years.

Can’t argue with that.

Euhm no not echo they where not involved in it

personally i dont care world first
Even the race of a dead game and a disgraceful story doesn’t taste good.

they want to encourage spectatorship of their games, that all went to hell when the sexual misconduct allegations came out though.

I understand the idea behind it, it’s marketing, but obviously streaming arena tournaments and world first races doesn’t keep players in the game. A lot of that marketing goes poof when new players find out how grindy, alt-unfriendly and “not for them” the game is in it’s current state.

e: Do you know what is way better publicity? Streamers that stream everything from gnom races to Stormwind, over casual or rated pvp and other things they do in the game. Sadly those fun stuff has been patched out and everything seems to be a contest now.
