Was the sunwell pure arcane before the plateau raid, and both holy and arcane after? I can see in the manga that it looks purple and gold when it is made, which makes me think arcane and light, but then again the heart of azeroth is blue and gold so maybe the gold part is just something to do with the colour of Azeroth’s power?

Azeroth (as all titans) is a being of the Arcane.
And as the sunwell was made from the well of eternity, wich in turn was basically an open wound in Azeroth, the Sunwell was a diluted arcane powersource.
The Infusion with Light was later when the Draenei and Naaru helped restore its power.

Yes, should be. Would also explain Kalecgos’ interest in her, as his dragon-swarm is charged with guarding the magic stuff in the world.
Maybe thats why he likes Jaina too then, since she got mana bombed and now she’s OP. Wonder if she is stronger than Anveena was now
Don’t know if Anveena was “strong” in any usual sense, she was just an embodyment of the Sunwells energy, not sure if she was able to really use or controll it.
Jaina was trained from childhood to channel magic, and the combination of talent and powerful artifacts with her lifelong training makes her one of the best mortal mages.
Not sure if they really are comparable.
I wonder if it’s holy nature now will help heal the Dead Scar over time.

That would make sense.
Just like the original Well of eternity it was full with Arcane. After its restoration it became a font of both Arcane and Holy energy (hence why blood elves got golden, blue and purple eyes)
