yesterday I needed 25 conc, for Azureweave bolt Q3, today it’s 163 ! Same with boots enchants, I can make 3-4 pieces after two days break.Seriously Blizzard ? Not to mention 1/2 of addons don’t work after reset, so I can’t craft, I can’t play, quests rewards are worthless, time to take a break.
Yes, they changed concentration needed for craft, max crafts will be expensive.
Addons are different story, addon authors need to update them, it is not Blizzard responsibility.
Why wouldnt you be able to craft or play the game if addons arent updated?
I prefer it to be expensive and therefore “rare”. If we’re going forward with materials with varying qualities, then we should not expect to have near 100% production of the highest quality at all times.
-=EDIT=-
I just realized, this is very similar to how we had very long cooldowns for the production of the highest-quality materials, and therefore crafts, back in vanilla and TBC. Didn’t we have something like 7 day / 4 day / 20 hour cooldowns, which in essence meant that one player could not monopolize the production and the market with those? The current system is very similar in that even if someone reaches the profession cap quickly, then Inspiration and Concentration will be the system preventing them from monopolizing the market.
so if I need to spend 15-20 % of full concentration on ONE bolt of cloth at maximum skill + maximum knowledge + mettles boost, after 1 and 1/2 year of doing every weekly prof. quest, what’s the point ? And then what if I don’t have full skill and knowledge, I won’t craft Q3 at all, but then what is the concentration for ? It might work for expensive items you craft 1 per day like special armor/weapon, but for a common cloht or enchantment, which the crafter needs dozens of, it’s nonsense.
You will have 2 options:
- Either spend your concentration on the materials, which will bring the concentration requirement for the final item down or
- Create rank 1 or rank 2 intermediate materials and spend all your concentration on the final item.
Don’t forget that, just as it was the case with Dragonflight, initially we will all have very “bad” crafts. Anyone outside the botters and exploiters will not have rank 5 profession equipment in the first month.
If the devs, however, have made it so that you max rank profession equipment, max rank intermediate materials and and a massive amount of Concentration to achieve max rank crafted equippable item, then that means that crafting will not a “shortcut” to close-to-BiS gear, at least initially.
