Abuse of the trade channel for chatting in a none english language

Hi there,

I just want to bring up this problem, since it is now impossible to:

A) use the trade channel in the appropriate way (meaning for trade).
I mean, there are still a few people who actualy use the channel to sell their goods, but it is being spammed away in splitt second by a horde of Polish Speaking People who apparently dont know there are other options for chatting such as -Forming a Party, or Raid- and use that chat for chatting, -Create a community- and join the voice chat, or normal chat, or even just the `General´ channel…

B) Enjoy reading the trade channel discussion.
Its polish language everywhere, on a none polish speaking server.
Its absurd, imho.

Should i report everyone for “Language”??? :stuck_out_tongue:

(I play on skullcrusher, which used to be enjoyable… since i was part of the community… but now everyone who doesnt speak polish is totaly left out… as an example… Polish speaking people saying `if you want to use the trade channel, you gotta speak polish´… which is probably ment as a joke, but it isnt funny at all).

Truly, perhaps everyone who doesnt use a common language (on EU servers this would be english) should be banned from using the trade channel for some time??

Discuss!

learn polish.

I see trade chat spammed with many languages, i dont care, since it’s already 24/7 spamfest.

You want to use ’ not ` for works such as “it’s”, btw. That’s what is causing your format issues.

You’d be wasting your own time.
Honestly, just abandon trade chat.
Stick to communities and Guild chat. As well as global chat out in zones, not in the city.
For your trade just do it through the AH.

on xavius also same, i dont see any english at all, but at least its not boost spam and im learning new languages ;XD

I dont pay for WoW to be left out.
There are a few common languages everyone (generaly) speaks.
Either Polish People are selfish, or too dumb to understand they have other options? (no offense).
I joined an english speaking server because that language i know.
I pay monthly for this game, and have just spend 70+ euro for the next expansion.
For that payment i expect to receive something in return, which is “a pleasant experience” playing the game (which includes being part of the community, which is completely shot when one group of people whipes their behind with everything that isnt Polish.
Perhaps You dont care, but im not You.
And even if it were the last option left to choose, i am NOT learning polish.
(frankly i`ld rather die).

let me guess you speak 1 language and think english is the best language in the world? ;0

its not against rules to speak other languages . from vanila some realms were unoficially russian, polish, turkish, spanish etc. some still remain till today

I speak enough languages.
But having to learn a new language just to be able to read the “trade” chat i going a bitt far no?
It may not be against the rules, but it definately isnt practical and does lower the apeal of playing the game.
(I speak Dutch, Norwegian, German, Belgian, Some swedish, some danish, American-English, and plenty of dialects belonging to mentioned languages).
Speaking polish has never bin one of my dreams or wishes :stuck_out_tongue:

Edit: And so the trade channel has changed to “anal” spam…
(You know, writing “anal” and linking some skill?).
At least it isnt Polish <.<

get over it. Nothing will be done about this. Also, leave trade chat because it’s literally spamfest

It is quite unfortunate that the non-Polish people were connected to the biggest unofficial Polish server, especially since the population difference makes the non-Polish people a hard minority on the new cluster. Quite a baffling display of ignorance by whoever gave the green light for this particular connection.

I’m afraid not much can be done, friend. Unless the Poles show enough courtesy to talk in English, I’m afraid that the only sensible options that remain are to either ignore them or leave the chat. It could very well be that many, if not even the majority of the Poles on that server simply lack sufficient knowledge of the English language to be able to communicate in it in the trade chat.

For what it’s worth, I wish ye and yer friends best of luck.
