Hi, I’m trying to get my Loremaster of Pandaria Achivement but i am currently stuck in Kun Lai Summit.
I have picked up some quests after doing the other areas and the main quest i am now on is “The Fearmaster” where you are supposed to kill The Fearmaster. When i go to the location on the map where he is supposed to be, he isn’t there. The Zone there is now for 120 content. and i can’t find a way to access the old part of pandaria.
I have talked to Zidormi in the Vale of Eternal Blossom and have rolled back that zone but when entering Kun Lai summit some parts are still scaled for 120.
i have no interest nor intention currently to pursue BfA content as it’s not what i am currently enjoying so if someone could assist me with a solution to where i can actually progress my Kun Lai summit Story progress i would greatly appreciate that.
To note is that i made a ticket regarding this aswell where i got a simple Copy Paste reply saying i should check wowhead and amongst other things. While i have tried that my efforts have been less that fruitful so to say.
As i am not used to the Battlenet forums i had no idea which of my characters was selected and that is not something that i even considered before posting. This is the character of which i am trying to get the Achivement on if that is of any relevance.
I am unsure if i can change the “Character Author” of the post.
I know you mentioned you have no interest to do BfA content at the moment, but I’m afraid that is your only option here
It seems like you started the current BfA questchain leading to Kun-Lain Summit, and until that is complete, you won’t be able to revert the zone back to it’s original state.
If it’s any consolidation, the good news is that the questchain is very brief, so should not take long to complete. Here’s the full chain on wohead, in case you wanted to backtrack your breadcrumbs and if you abandoned it half-way through:
Alternatively, if you have any alts, you could also just finish that particular zone’s Loremaster achievement on a different character, as completion of the sub-achivements is shared across your account. Progress on the achievements themselves is unfortunately not shared though, so if you already quested through a large portion of Kun-Lai Summit and don’t want to repeat it, then I’m afraid doing the BfA questline is your only option.
