Does anyone know if there is an option/command in game or an addon that permanently lights up your character (like when you hover over your character portrait).
I have issues with my vision and when I focus on my character my eyesight becomes strained and the ‘‘light up’’ feature when I hover over my character helps alleviate some of that straining. It isn’t viable to constantly have my cursor over my character pane so I was hoping someone may be able to help me with this?
i believe that you can use an option in interface to light up your character its under Combat raid self higghligt outline.but that works for raid only ;(
I don’t have issues with my vision and need this as well. Also, while we are on it… Can Blizzard also please add an option to disable partical/spell/skill visuals effects for group members? In a raid or mythic dungeon it is almost all the time super hard for me to differ between Ally spells and skills and enemy ones, since the enemy ones use the exact same colors without tint as visuals.
I get this issue too.
I tend to use brighter transmogs or a flaming staff or a weapon enchant that glows.
Mages also have those glowy shields they can pop to show where they are.
I once used weak auaras(I think) or some such addon to make some effect appear on my character by using a macro. Like pressinbg a button made character flash with chosen spell effect… Maybe it was not weak auaras but something like spell effect or something… It was few years ago, sorry.
Other thing i use these days is to drink potion of giant growth. it at least helps me make up my character from crowd of mobs or other similar thing.
