Accidently bought the wrong item

I bought the wrong item from the arena vendor. Why is it that when I opened a ticket immediately following this they aren’t able to restore it?

They say the binds to character function was to stop people abusing the sell back within 2 hours but I don’t see how not allowing a GM to help me with this hurts anyone else’s fun in game.

I’m frustrated with how inflexible you are on this issue and the reasoning is just basically ‘‘this is working as intended’’. I don’t see how helping me harms anyone else and it would an easy win for you (increasing player happiness and loyalty to brand).

I would be interested to know what the core principles of your customer service is and how this aligns with that?

Their core principle is not caring about customers

Isn’t the sell back function there for this very reason?

I was wondering the same thing, does that system not exist in Classic?

It’s been years since I touched Classic so I can’t remember off the top of my head.

It might not for arena items can’t say for sure. Normal buyback definitely does.

Don’t think that buy back option was in Classic.

This is my feeling, could anyone except this company please buy it out. The culture of their business is the least caring I’ve seen in a while. No wonder the suffer scandals…

Speaking from experience they will not replace that. The reason given was actually acceptable , however it did piss me off.

The person handling my ticket said Look shadowfling If we do this for you then we must do it for other people.

The person actually recomended an alternative item which was almost the same stats and level so I was happy enough and just went and got that.

I chose a attack power trinket instead of spell damage from that boyo in hellfire peninsula.

Tip: buy the right item next time.

Sorry, we can’t give you a good service because other people would want it too.

It’s a good tip, I’ll try my best to do that next time

what do you mean I can’t just randomly buy items then cry on the forums for something I did wrong ?

I did my best to buy the right one, when something goes wrong in game why not help the players out though?

I hope when you make a mistake that someone can help you, I’m not sure why you wouldn’t want the same for me.

I once got busted by the ah trick where you put 9 items on at normal price and one higher and then some unwitting fool buys 10 and bang pays double.

Guess what I did…

I said bozo - yes I refer to my self in the third person by a forum handle - you are a bozo.

Then I carried on with my day

i mean, i do get that its frustrating but in the end i dont see why blizzard should have to help out as it was the players fault.

i wouldnt dream creating a ticket if i bought a wrong item. it was my fault so i have to deal with it and next time i will tripple check what im buying.

But still placed the curser over the wrong item and bought it?

This is something you could have prevented yourself if you paid a little more attention when buying items. There are actual problems affecting the game that Blizzard should be dealing with rather than a mistake like this.

Complaints like these remind you why they put “Caution! Hot!” warnings on coffee cups.

Very confused, need more tips.

If that was the case then I wouldn’t report it within a minute surely
