be easy to have all crafting mats in one bank that all characters on the account could access as well as account (BOA) items instead of posting to every alt you have each alt/character can access one place, and especially as most professions require other crafting items from other professions.
other MMo’s have this so cannot see why wow hasn’t added it yet
just thought i would share a opinion as i would love to have one
I’ve posted about this before and I’m also amazed it’s not been done. I’ve just got two “Bank Guilds”, one on each faction where I dump my alts though my Horde side main (this guy) is also in the Bank Guild
As long as I get the option to switch it off. Each char has different professions, skill sets and gear so I just would hate getting that lot mixed up. The only way it would work is if you could access each bank for each different character, but only on one realm. I mean, I have 50 characters… do you even have any concept of just how much stuff I have stored.
I don’t think it will, most people just pass mats to alts using mail or are like me and have some kind of shared banking system (Bank alt or bank guild)
though having a account bank would cut all that out, as wouldn’t need to post mats and have a guild bank alt even if your main is in a guild you could still share mats from the account bank, so i cant see why bliz wouldn’t give us it, and would be great for new alts to have access to old farmed stuff via main or higher level alts.
It’s a Guild Bank, for people who don’t bother with joining other Guilds and keep your alts and main in your own Guild and share all the stuff between them.
“Blizzards” Diabolo 3 has account wide bank. WOW should have one also …this follows.
Take the routine of mailing stuff from Toon A to toon B out of the equation.
My hack for this is to have all my Alt toons in a personal guild and slam everything in to the GBank 4tw… Not perfect but its is a hack.
Works well!
