Account got banned after i just got to restore the email/password on it

Yeah, my other account got hacked last weeks tuesday. They changed emails, passwords etc. Now just yesterday night i got the reset password email and so on. I tried to log in but it just says i’m banned and this text pops up ¨Get Help: BLZBNTTAS00000006¨ I have no idea what to do. it says that i should have everything i need in my email but i dont have anything?? I can’t change my accout security questions or anything because i can’t log in. this is the ticket i made addressing that problem Ticket ID: EU85295782 and it would be nice to know that how long i still need to wait to play a game i’m paying to play

This post is probably better placed in the Customer Support board (Forums => Support => Customer Support).

You can try if you can use the “edit” button (the pencil) on your post and if you can move the thread, then you don´t have to write it again.

They don’t permit the discussion of account bans on the forums. If it is truly banned, then you will need to await the outcome of your appeal ticket.

However, if it is just “Locked” not banned, changing the password should, in theory, unlock it.

However, I just googled that error code, and it seems to be the error code for an actual Account Ban, sorry, but I think you’re going to have to await the outcome of your appeal.

I mean what? I haven’t done anything ¨bannable¨. I just got my account back and now when i try to appeal it, it puts me straight to log in and i can’t log in.

You can’t log in when your account is banned, no. Thats the whole purpose of a ban.

I don’t know why your account is banned. Just that the error code, is the error code for an account ban, according to google.

yeah but i mean’t like when i go to¨ban appeal¨ it puts me straight to that point where i would need to log in, so how can i appeal my ban when i can’t even log in

They will have sent you an email (check your spam folders) with instructions on how to appeal the ban.

that’s the funny thing, i read that too but my spam folder is empty, only emails from blizzard that i’ve gotten are my ticket respond from last night (because account was hacked) and this morning when i changed my password

There is a link at the top of the forums, “SUPPORT”, then Account, then Contact Support, followed by “Appeal an Account Action”.

That’s the thing that i tried and when i click the continue button it puts me to log in but i can’t do that

I have never needed to log in, to appeal an account action.

Its possible your account got banned for something the hacker did while it was under their control, by some automated process.

Yes, that’s what I was thinking too. There have been several cases of people getting their account back only to find a character locked. This could be the same thing and would explain why you didn’t get the ban mail - it would’ve gone to whoever hacked your account.
