If it was automated it would only be an in game silence. The automated silences from reports take at least 5 people reporting you to trigger the auto silence which then is looking into by a GM who makes a decision regarding whether to take further action or remove it.
If its a full on game ban then you’ve done something more and it has been given out by a human being.
No i’m sure people auto report other people who advertise for their boosts in trade chat.

There’s something you’re not telling us here. You would not get banned for a week for spamming in trade chat.
If this is your first offence, it would of been a silence, then 3 days, then a week. Not straight into 7 days.
The email says because of language? So that has nothing to do with you spamming in trade, if that was the case it would of said due to spamming. Not language.

Blizz can just silence him for some time. Banning ppl for spam? Common people there are far worse things you can do in the game. I hate spammers as much as anyone but you don’t give the death penalty for someone who stole a chewing gum…
I used trade chat for advertising my boost something like 8 or 10 times per min.I was not spamming in trade chat just advertising like everybody else do.
There is the reason for your ban, and i am not suprised by that…

This. Instead of thinking of “i got automaticly banned” you need to think what kind of language you have been using in general in game.
What would you class as spamming if it isn’t repeating the same message 8-10 times in 1 minute?
You state ‘last time’ so I’m guessing this isn’t your 1st ban? Also if the ban was for the spamming, then I’d guess the email would say that

Supposedly they issued 1-7 day bans for people advertising boost services. Think the ones banned were using RMT (go to this website to pay for it kind of thing) but can’t confirm. Just something i saw on these forums and reddit.
