Account hacked multiple times

Such a picture would be meaningless. If you have one of your old Xpac Keys youre pretty much golden in recovering your account but you dont need a picture for that

You don’t have a box anymore when you buy the game. Only if you actually go to a store to buy it.

This whole post reeks sus

That was his point tho. I mean i still have my bloody TBC and Wotlk boxes flying around including with the key inside it. That is probably the safest bet one can have to getting hack protection in terms of recovery

He said it in a way that made it seem like an assumption that everyone has a box.

That’s why saying if op’s friend has a box doesn’t do anything. Just tell him to look for the key

Just replace box with receipt then. Which you should have saved anyway somewhere.

Which i did.

how do you know it hasnt been faked and that it was a random id card?

im sorry but it doesnt work that way. the id has to match the existing data.

Probably a bought account and the original owner wanted it back.

The what. If you get a keylogger on your computer, you don’t just scan the computer. You nuke everything, wipe the drives. Make sure nothing stays.

You did, and my reply wasn’t to you.
Now was it…

Everyone can figure out what he meant when saying go grab the box. Its not exactly rocket science. Not even when it comes to Retributors posts.

Unsurprisingly I’ll trust the experts advice over yours.

The “experts”? Lmao, Blizzard aren’t experts. Those programs only detect stuff that’s known to the company making them, clearing the drive is the only sure way to get rid of anything unwanted.

I don’t want to get into a wang swinging contest with you. All I’m saying is I don’t value your inputs or advice.

My education is within computer science. “just scan ur computerz lolz”, what a joke.

I don’t care. See how you’ve already taken what I said about “pretty detailed instructions” and moved it to “just scan your computer lolz”. Its stuff like this that makes me attach zero value to the things you say.

“i dont care”, yet you respond. Funny.

On how to run malware checks or antivirus. Neither which actually does anything if the stuff is undiscovered by the program used nor are they particularly effective at detecting changes the malicious programs makes on the computer or what backdoors it opens up or if it even has made your computer unwittingly a server for all kinds of stuff.

Hoping it’ll discourage you. Clearly your skills at taking a hint are as bad as your skills at creating threads and understanding what I said.

Maybe don’t act like they’re giving any useful advice or that they’re experts.

Is this turning into a popcorn worthy thread now? Asking for a friend
