Account has been logged in somewhere else, no login requests from my authenticator app

So yeah, just a moment ago i was kicked out and greeted with the message that my account has logged in somewhere else. I immediately changed my password, scanned by computer and checked the login history and removed all payment options.

What i find strange is that i have not received any login requests on my authenticator app. Surely, if someone were to successfully login to my account they would trigger a authentication request?

Another thing, in my login info i could also only see the two latest logins which were my own from logging back into the game and the website to change the password. Is there a way to see more than the two latest logins?

If u DC at times u have been kicked out and attempting to reconnect before ur character itself has left the game itself.

This would flag the account as “being used”… u have to wait til your character itself disconnects from the World before it’ll let u then enter. dont worry its quite normal (ofcourse precaution is always warranted when seeing this stuff)

its likely you simply connected faster then ur character was booted out, like when u see someone endlessly run into a wall before u then see them disconnect.

What bothers me is that i wasn’t in the process of jumping between characters or relogging. I was sitting AFK in Boralus and watching a youtube video and then got kicked out after having been AFK for more than 10-15 minutes.

oh that makes far less sense. i thought u ment kicked out as in DC’d xD

I was, i was thrown back to the login screen where you enter the email/password.

hmm… yeah does sound suspicious o.O. that does sound like a forced log off from someone else logging into ur account to me?.. unsure u may wanna take that to a ticket however where u’d likely get a better reply or atleast someone that maybe able to state what happened.

So i just talked to a GM with the live chat and they see no suspicious activity or any login attempts from any other IP adresses/locations so it was most likely a false alarm.

He/she said that it could possibly be that i was disconnected for some other reason and given the wrong notification by the server. :man_shrugging:t2:

Hi Hjaldren,

Glad you had your mind set to rest!

It may also be worth checking if another Battle.net client was open on a different device in the same location. Generally logging in on multiple devices within the same location will cause the disconnection without asking for authenticator approval

I’m certain it wasn’t, what raised some extra question marks was that it happened while i was inactive and not jumping between characters.

Thanks for chiming in anyways, always nice to see some blueposts on the EU forums.
