Account locked

Hi,

I havn’t played for a while and I thought it was time to get back to WoW.
I saw now that all my WoW-accounts are locked, but I havn’t recieved any e-mail regarding this and how to fix it.

I have already sent a ticket but it hasn’t yet been fixed, i’m pretty sure that it has been hacked since it has happened before. What can I do to fix this?

Did you try resetting your password, as advised in many threads about this?

I’ve changed password, added authenticator, changed e-mail, added phone-number.

I’ve been hacked before, this is the second time. Maybe it’s not as easy when it has happened before.

Usually if you are hacked more than once they require a government or official ID to unlock it. I suggest adding a picture of that now so that when you get a reply they can deal with it without asking for the ID and waiting again. The image is deleted after they deal with your ticket.

Do you know how much time it takes to get it fixed, ish?

Tickets are taking longer than usual due to this Lockdown as I don’t think the staff can work from home and only every other desk can have a person in it. The current wait time is well over one week, closer to 10-11 days from what I see on the forums and I don’t think it’s getting shorter.

If you have added gametime recently I might be an idea to ask for some of it back due to the length of the ticket queue.

Alright, shouldn’t tickets about hacked accounts or people not getting into an account be more of an priority? :astonished:

I’m on the fence about hacked accounts. There is SMS protect and Physical or Mobile authenticators that can simply prevent it from happening at all, and 9 times out of 10, the player has fallen for an old phishing whisper/email…

That said, I would imagine some subjects are prioritised, there is just simply a lot of tickets right now and less ticket staff to do it, and perhaps less tools if they are working from home.

if you get easly hackted then you are 1. on pirate sites that give you cookies that spy on your comp or what you using to game… 2. do you have a anti virus that protecs you on some different lvs? (i do and loving it) and 3. you play ya account on different computers or at friends places or lend them for others to play? Ow and 4. you buy things for wow on shady websites…

I got a reply from a GM and he needed more information. I replied with the information he needed and it said “estimated time for reply 24h”. It has gone over 24 hours, do you guys know if that’s just how long it should take when the world is normal or is it adjusted to the replying-times now with covid-19?

Think that should be when the world’s “normal” :expressionless: things has been quite way longer with COVID-19 around unfortunately.
