Account wide pets collection

How do you like an idea of account wide pets collection, fellow hunters?
For example, my orc hunter has Arcturis spirit beast, which i was camping for days. When Zandalari troll race will be available, i want to create a new hunter and level him from 20 lvl to get the heritage armor. So, i will be forced to collect all the rare pets again. This is painfull, Blizzard.
Is it technically possible - to share pets between your hunter characters - what do you think?

Technically possible? Most likely yes.

Should it be done? If you ask me, then no. I strongly believe that actual hunter pets tamed are specific to the character on which you’ve tamed them.
I would say that it would be more likely to see some sort of trading post/ground to which hunters can travel to trade/sell actual pets with/to other hunters on the same realm(group).

I’m sure there are hunters out there who detest even thinking of something like this as hunter pets are very much personal. I would agree with this to a degree, but the trade/selling of pets at least make more sense than making them account-wide.
An option like this would actually, sort of, solve the issue of you wanting to reroll to a new hunter as well as you could then just ask a friend/guildie you trust(who has a hunter of their own) to keep your companion safe while you venture off to explore your “existential” self(while you go and reroll).

Personal Opinion Here!

I wouldn’t want that. I personally enjoy the hunt.

Selling pets or trading will be the worst idea ever.

Atm its quite easy to tame those rare beasts because most hunters have them and you are competing with 2-3 other hunters for the tame. Wich is quite easy in scholasar basin because that leopard has quite a few spawn points.

If you can sell them all hunters will camp to make some gold wich means you will not be able to tame any rare pet. And they will be too expensive because of spawn timers.

So account wide hell yes, sell/trade no.

Depends on who you ask. Some probably would very much want an in-game function like that. Besides, I never said that I thought it would be a good idea. I just said that the ability to trade/sell hunter pets would make more sense than making them available account-wide for all your hunters.

Let’s say you track down and tame Loque on your troll hunter located on one realm-group. But later on you switch to your dwarf hunter located on another realm-group. And what do you see? There’s Loque! Now, how did he get here?

You say you want account wide pets? I say no thanks. I propose another option. You say no thanks. This is just a matter of personal opinion. We like things different.

Like I said, I did not propose this option because I thought it was an awesome idea. Heck, I think tamed pets should strictly belong to the hunter that tamed them. I only brought that option up because it makes more sense fantasy-wise.
