I’m a returning player and haven’t played for years. I want a fresh start, I love achievements but want to feel like a new player again. Is there anyway to reset your achievements?
There is no way to remove your achievements or items you’ve collected. You can, however, make a new account. You would obviously have to buy the game again though.
That was my worry, it would be a lot of money just for the ease of not seeing achievements I got years ago. Is there away to even hide account wide achievements by deleting old characters or setting it / an addon to only show achievements for that character?
No as far as i know when you delete your characters that got certain achievements you will still keep the achievements. Even the character will never truly be gone because of restore deleted character fuction. As for add ons i do not know you could look that up on the internet though.

It is actually not possible for an addon to show only the character’s achievements, because so many achievements are no longer tied to a character, but to your Bnet account.
To have a clean slate, you need a new WoW account in a new Battle.net account.
Ofc, you don’t have to buy a WOW account any more. The only thing you have to pay for at the moment is BfA if above 110, and gametime - and we will expect BfA to become free with pre-patch.
