Hello.
Is there a way to reset your achievements?
I want to start fresh, have only 1 toon, and start from lvl 1 with no achievements.
Since i have so many toons i have loads of achievements that were achieved by other toons. I don’t want to see that.
I strongly believe that achievement sharing or account achievements were a bad thing.
I dont feel like my character has any progression…
So that is why i wish to reset all my achievements.
Does anyone know how to do it?
Or
Is there a way to delete your warcraft account and make a new one …that has 0 achievements, 0 toons…or should i just create a new account from the get-go?
I don’t think there’s anything except an option to only show achievements completed by the character you’re currently playing on. Doubt the GM’s will wipe your achievements out either. All in all, an odd mentality. I’m not saying that it’s stupid or anything, just odd to me.
Don’t you feel like everything you’ve accomplished is a single effort from all your characters combined? If I do an achievement on alt, I don’t feel like doing it again necessarily on another character, because I’ve already completed it. Well, I guess with the lack of actual character progression in-game we have to create our own progression.
Sadly, there is no way with any of your existing accounts.
You can create a new WoW account on a new Battle.net account, and don’t connect it to your existing Battle.net at all, but that’s it. Be SURE not to connect it to your existing Battle.net or it will inherit the achievements!
There is an option to show character achievements only, but in a stunning turn of lunacy, they are still displayed TO YOU, just not to other people. I never have got my head around what levels of insanity would consider that appropriate. Even then, that doesn’t work properly, because “Meta” achievements are no longer credited to any specific character, even if that character did them entirely alone. Somewhere, Kafka is getting a chuckle out of that.
